Even though my Appointment wasn’t until after 11:00 this morning when we woke at 8:26 we went into hyper drive. We had a lite breakfast of a glass of Juice and a Muffin. We never even turned on our Computers before heading out the door around 9:00. We were happy to see the Elevators were back in service after they all went down last evening.
I had planned on going to Hearing Life to drop off Kathy’s Hearing Aids so they could check them out through the day but Kathy convinced me to wait until after our return. Heading across the Expressway you could tell it was Construction Season.
Arriving in Amherstburg way too early for my appointment we drove to the Pharma Care drug store where we picked up some of Kathy’s Medications that were left owing. Smaller Pharmacies will often do that when they can’t fill the entire Prescription and simply make it up to you when it comes in. They would have delivered it to our Apartment but we were fighting the Congestion Problems at the time and I knew we’d soon be heading that way. It was waiting for us to pick up.
We had more time to waste so we walked around the local Dollarama. We found a few things we like to keep on hand that our normal outlets were out of stock. They don’t carry all the same products.
We then headed to Rivertown Dental where Kathy waited in the Car reading while I went in. The last time I was there Shawn only fixed one of my teeth. I didn’t realize it until I got home and started feeling a twinge coming from the second tooth. It always amazes him that for the last Forty Years I haven’t take any freezing for fillings. I then saw Adam who measured me for a new Upper Plate. This one only lasted Twenty-Five Years and is showing signs of wear.
When I came out there was Traffic Lineup all the way to where the High School is. That meant the Students were on their lunch break and were visiting the nearby Fast Food Restaurants.
We headed in the other direction and went to visit our son Kevin. We had a couple of T-Shirts we ordered On-Line to leave for Cameron and Matthew. Cameron loved it the moment he saw it. Matthew was at work.
When we headed out we stopped at Wendy’s where we sat inside to enjoy their Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks for lunch.
Heading back to Windsor we stopped at Guardian Storage to collect our Mail before continuing on to Hearing Life. We explained the Feedback problem Kathy was experiencing but the soonest they can fix it is tomorrow morning. They only have One Computer set up to do those kinds of adjustments.
We next went to The Home Depot to return the Shelf I won’t be using for the Toilette Cabinet modification.
We stopped at the nearby Dollarama so I could pick up the Masking Tape that I forgot to do earlier because it wasn’t on the list.
Back at our building there were a couple of Dump Trucks being filled with the broken pavement from the Exit Driveway. Inside the Apartment we could hear noise outside and when we looked down saw the Painters starting to add Lines and Numbers on the Asphalt that was put down last Friday. By the time the News was finished so were the Painters.
For supper we shared a Small Acorn Squash along with a Personal Sized Chicken Pot Pie and we topped it off with the last Two Muffins for dessert.
The 6 o’clock Local News reported on the upcoming Provincial Election and we’ll be glad when it is all over.
The Weather Network showed we only reached a high of 88 F (31 C) but because of the Low Humidity felt more like 97 F (36 C). Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer before it again cools down to seasonal temperatures.
We’ve got more appointments to do tomorrow.

Finally spring has arrived but of course, almost too much too soon so it will cool down to normal again. Hopefully not too much though.
