Congestion Sticking Around.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Since it was nearly 11:00 when I published our Blog last night I didn’t think setting the alarm for 5:00 would be a wise idea so I set it for 6:00. Why this is happening lately I don’t know but the Full Moon could have something to do with my restless sleep. I think I was awake every Fifteen Minutes last night until I finally just got up to start my day at 5:28. It really does suck how little energy you have when a good night’s sleep escapes you.

It was shortly after 6:00 when I walked into Planet Fitness and the place was packed. I wore my Mask until I was in exertion mode and I wasn’t the only one doing so. Having been away for Nine Days I barely completed a Single Set on Sunday but that helped me to complete Two Sets today. As long as I’m not away for long periods I’ll be back to my former level within the week.

It was nearly 8:30 when I walked in the Apartment to find Kathy already doing her morning chores so I immediately started making breakfast. We had an Egg Over Easy on a Toast to go with our morning Coffee/Tea. Up to that point we seemed to be over the worst of the Congestion.

After drying my exercise gear I busied myself cutting a Pineapple for our future desserts. It was barely an Hour at the Computers that the Congestion started returning for the both of us. Our second cup was Neo Citran Daytime. Minutes later we were again breathing the way we should always.

By lunchtime we were struggling to stay awake so while Kathy started dusting I made lunch. Today we had Italian Wedding Soup with a Cranberry Lemon Muffin and Pineapple or dessert.

Job Ads started appearing after we got back to our desks but there was nothing there worth my while. What gets frustrating are special invitations to work for companies willing to pay Minimum Wage in the GTA where the cost of living is far higher then here. NOT!

Kathy’s stomach was upset so she opted to just have a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Olive Garnishings for supper. After she ate she felt better.

So as not to lose any Vegetables I planned on making Stir-Fry with I worked on cooking them up while the 6 o’clock Local News reported more on the upcoming Provincial Election. They also mentioned 27 Active Coronavirus Cases for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high of 66 F (19 C) with Rain heading our way tomorrow.

We’re taking a Night-Time Neo Citran before going to bed in hopes of getting rid of the Congestion once and for all.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Finally got caught up with your blog once more. I am disappointed that you both have not been able to get over your congestion and in your case the lack of sleep.

Hoping that this evening Kathy and you finally get a good night's rest.

  2. Is there any chance you folks have developed some allergies? Perhaps those workers have churned up something? On the advice of the telephone doctor I started taking AllegraD which was really helpful.

  3. Hoping you both are on the end of you being sick!

  4. I tried to leave a comment on OFM Adventures, but it asked me to click on a box to sign in to google even though I am already signed in. But then nothing happened after I clicked on the box.

Anyway I am practicing on your blog right now, just to isolate the problem to OFM Adventures. But there was no way to email him.
