The Sun, Job Ads, Baking and Vaccine Changes.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

That was a lot better. We both managed to have a decent night’s sleep and woke up feeling refreshed. When we opened the Balcony Blinds there was a sight that we’ve been craving to see for some time. There wasn’t a Cloud in the entire Blue Sky just bright Sunshine.

As soon as we got to our Computers the first thing I checked was The Weather Network where surprisingly the Temperature was only at 41 F (5 C) but seeing what the high would later be made me smile.

I’ve mentioned recently that since I’ve been searching for employment the next thing I check on the Computer is my E-mail for Job Ads and the last thing I check before shutting down is the same so that I might be one of the first to apply. It’s amazing that this is at least the Sixth Time that I find an Ad posted the day before the following morning. It seems that the medium Indeed is choosing when to release them.

Today I managed to apply for Two More Jobs along with responding to questions from another possible employer that I had already sent an Application to.

Our late lunch was a Modified Garden Salad along with Mandarin Orange Slices, Maple Cookies and a Chocolate Pudding Cup.

After a quick clean up I was sent back to my Computer while Kathy played in the Kitchen doing some baking. The end results were a Cherry Pie along with what the kids called Rolly-Pollies (Miniature Cinnamon Rolls). Of course when she was finished we had to taste test the Rolly-Pollies. They just weren’t very good because they just melted in our mouths. Better hide the rest.

At 5:30 Kathy had a craving so for supper we had Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls along with Chicken Fried Rice. We also had a slice of Cherry Pie but since it was only Hours Old did not come out of the pan too well but it still tasted delicious.

On the 6 o’clock Local News as the Canadian Government is now looking away from the AstraZenica Vaccines they are looking at increasing the number of Pfizer and Moderna Vaccines in the hopes of having everyone fully vaccinated by the end of Summer. There is still a big controversy of when they plan to reopen the International Borders. We also learned of 46 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region bringing the Active Cases to 330 of which 171 were Variants of Concern in the area.

Our high temperature for the day was 63 F (17 C) but there is still a chance of Frost overnight but we will finally be getting more seasonal temperatures.

This evening we watched “New Amsterdam”, “Nancy Drew” and “Criminal Minds” for entertainment. We like the way many programs are dealing with the Coronavirus and its lasting effects keeping in real time.

  1. Some states like California are removing mask restrictions as of June 1... the tide appears to be turning - or people have just had enough...
