Change, Exercise, Walking and Hot.

After staying up a few minutes longer last night I delayed getting out of bed by the same amount of time this morning. I even managed to have all the News that was of interest read before Kathy joined me for breakfast. We kept it lite by having a Bran Muffin as a slight change from the normal Cereal.

Having a few too many Aches and Pains that crept up on me through this last week I knew that it was time to restart my exercise routine. Knowing enough that it meant to start with lighter weights and less repetitions. Before I knew it was time for lunch.

Keeping things lite for most of the day we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Olives for garnishing. We also had the last of the Strawberry Chocolate Pie for dessert. Like the first half Kathy didn’t like the way it crumbled when served. It still tasted good.

An unusual sight in the City.

Trying to get whatever exercise we could and to wear off lunch we soon headed out the door. Kathy lead the way to the small Book Exchange that she has visited since I started working. Even though there were large Trees that comforted us with their shade every time we walked in the direct Sunlight it felt like our flesh was being cooked. Now Kathy understands what I mean about morning walks.

It was only around a single block but it helped loosen more stiff joints. Still having the AC running it was nice getting back to the Apartment. The heat had Kathy taking a Snap (Short Nap) while I continued catching up reading Blogs that I might have missed this week. There was no time for leaving Comments.

On the 6 o’clock Local News in the Windsor/Essex Region there were 51 New Coronavirus Case bringing the Active Cases to 361

Our area temperature with the low Humidity today felt more like 99 F (37 C) between 1:00 and 3:00 this afternoon. (Guess what time we were out for our walk?)

It started raining around the time we had our late supper of Macaroni and Cheese along with Date Squares for our dessert.

We’ll see how our Second Week goes starting tomorrow.
