Kathy and I would like again to wish all our Female Readers a Happy Mothers Day. The last couple of years have really changed the way life as we knew it is handled today. As mentioned in last night’s post the more people that get Vaccinated will help get us back to near normal in the not too distant future.
This morning I did things a little different mainly because of the importance of the day. Once everything was ready to start making breakfast that’s exactly what I did. The Aroma started wafting through the Apartment and before I knew it Kathy was joining me for breakfast. We both enjoyed the French Toast with our own choice of toppings.
Looking
outside there was no change to the weather from
yesterday
as you could tell which vehicles had spent the night in the parking
lot. We
then moved to our Computers
where
Kathy had
more
Mothers
Day Greetings
online
to
going through. The
Weather Network
and Radar
were again showing more Rain
through out the day.
The same Job
Ads
as yesterday were posted so there was no change in that status. There
were more Blogs
to read today from our Sidebar
as some of the Daily
Bloggers
have switched to being Weekly
Bloggers
on Sundays.Sanford with his favourite Blanky.
Karen has sewn it to other Blankets
to hold it together.
Kathy received a few calls this morning from grands Kylla and Tyler wishing her a Happy Mothers Day. A while later our son Kevin called wishing her the same.
When
it came time for lunch I modified a Garden
Salad
by
adding
Chopped
Onions and Peppers
along with Shredded
Mozzarella Cheese.
Kathy made the dessert plate with Grapes,
a Yogurt
Cups
and a Croissant.Meet Harry. The wrinkles that you see are in his skin.
We were just finishing the Dishes when our daughter Karen called to wish Kathy a Happy Mothers Day and to invite us for dinner. Since Karen works at home, we’ve had our first Vaccines just like Greg and Kylla we felt safe to say yes.
We
arrived shortly after 4:00 to find Karen and Kylla getting the meal
ready. We had the chance to meat Kylla’s new cat called Harry.
Harry is a Spinx
breed cat and only Eight
Months
old. What is unique is that Harry’s hair might be a Sixteenth
of an Inch
over his entire body. Poor
Sanford thinks Harry is a very skinny dog and
wants to play.He looks more sinister then he is.
Greg returned from an errand and immediately started grilling the Ham on the Barbecue while Karen and Kylla started getting the Scalloped Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Cheddar Cauliflower and Cheddar Biscuits to the table. Everything was Delicious. Dessert was Homemade Brownies with a scoop of Praline and Cream Ice Cream.
The Sun finally broke through the Clouds on our way home.
On the 11 o’clock Local News from London there were 47 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region today that brought the Active Cases to 363.
Our area reached a high of 45 F (7 C) today and will feel like 30 F (-1 C) overnight. And we thought we were getting warmer.
