Getting Ready To Leave, La Posa South Is Getting Green, Pigs and Yahoos Are Here.

Our Location today is at the La Posa South, LTVA, Quartzsite, Arizona.

After having a wonderful visit with everyone by the Campfire last night and breathing all that Fresh Air neither of us had any problems sleeping at all instead just like the last time we had a Fire the problem was waking up the next morning. There were no Sunrise Pictures to be had because the Sun was quite high by the time I started raising all the Window Shades this morning.
I only had enough time to get things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me downstairs. With the Inside Thermometer already showing temperatures in the upper 60’s we were opening Windows before we finished eating.
Flags being taken down.
We hadn’t even sat down at the Computers when we heard the sound of Metal Tubing clanging together as if they were being stacked. Imagine our surprise when we looked out our Window and saw Ken taking all his Flags that show his support for the Military down. One by One the Flags were lowered taken inside to be folded before another came down. That could only mean that he was getting ready to leave. Having spoken to Ken at the Campfire last night he never mentioned that he was leaving this early.
After getting our inside chores completed we went about making a lite lunch of Chicken Noodle Soup, Cheese Sticks and Yogurt Cup for dessert.
Having watched the Fresh Water level in our Tank drop to Empty yesterday I knew it was time to refill it today. Kathy came with me for the ride to fill our Fresh Water Barrel but we didn’t get very far. Seeing Ken outside we stopped to see when he was leaving. He will probably leave in a Week and a Half but likes to take his time packing so that everything will be put exactly wear it belongs otherwise it won’t fit. That was a relief, we know everyone will be leaving soon enough to head home but not too soon we hope. We also inquired about his Portable Structure because it would be nice to have someplace to sit outside and not have to worry about the Wind destroying it.
Taken before 5:00 in the afternoon.
On our way over to the Water Fill Area we noticed more empty areas where RVs had been set up for most of the winter. We also noticed the Overflowing Trash Bins not just the Four Smaller Bins but the Large Roll-Off Bin as well. The Small Bins are supposed to be emptied Three Times a Week but have not been touched since last week. The Large Roll-Off was emptied last Monday and it was just as overflowing.
There was no line to get our Fresh Water Barrel filled and we were soon back Home where I started transferring it to our Trailer. Looking around we are really starting to notice a lot of Plants and Cactus blooming. We’ve been wanting to get out for walks but Kathy doesn’t like to get up early so she decided to go for a walk after the Transfer was completed and she even invited me to tag along.
With all the Rain that has fallen in this area this Winter, everywhere we looked we saw shades of Green appearing along with Wildflowers changing the colour of the landscape. We walked up to the Ramada (Pavilion) where we stopped for a breather in the shade from the 82 F (28 C) temperatures. Being in the direct Sunlight you can feel your body warming up.
On our return we passed a site that the former residents had left behind their Cookware in the Firepit. Whatever happened to leaving a Site cleaner then you found it? Pigs!
There was also a group of Guys working on an Off Road Motorcycle and once they had it running one of the Yahoos went cutting through Washes getting Airtime then headed up the main road passing all the other vehicles like they were standing still. You could see where he was travelling in the LTVA by the cloud of dust rising in the air. Where are the Police when you need them?
After getting back Home we sat in the Shade outside to cool down because it was stifling inside the Trailer. While Kathy continued cooling off I got the Weber warmed up before putting a Pork Roast on the Grill Mat then turning the heat to Low. An Hour passed when Kathy went inside to make a Salad and saute some Asparagus. Supper was delicious and there’s Leftovers for a few more meals.
Hope everyone had the chance to enjoy St Patrick’s Day today. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  3. You certainly kept yourselves busy! I agree with that stuff in the fire pit..if you think it's worth leaving (in my opinion not) then take it to the free table at the office..otherwise throw it in the garbage..geez.. Dinner looks awesome!!

  4. Lovely to see all the green and blossoms. I love how you have adapted to boon docking but seem to make it so effortless.

  5. It is definitely warming up here in the desert southwest. And I have never seen it so green. Idiots are everywhere. So disgusting.

  6. Sad that people just don't think rule pertain to them but that's how it is. And then the jerk on the bike no respect these days.
