Early Christmas.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt wonderful just waking when my body said it was time. I barely coughed and my body Aches/Pains were hardly noticeable, though I still needed my Cane for balancing issues.

I was already busy checking my messages on the Computer, when Kathy came out to join me. Considering that it was me that brought this Cold/Flu home, it was no surprise that she was still suffering with the symptoms.

Our Over Easy Egg on Toast held us until lunch, but in the meantime, we were working together to get Kathy’s Computer working. It would not get in the important programs that it was always used for when we travelled. Even just trying to get E-mail and checking the Blog, it was taking over Twenty Minutes to accomplish. Though Kathy kept saying it just needed a tune-up/repair at Eight Years Old, I strongly suggested a replacement.

After having Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch to help with the healing process, we headed out the door.

We went to Staples where they were having a Sale on select Laptops. The one thing it had to have was an Intel Processor. Kathy’s present Computer had an AMD Processor and never kept up to mine. Kathy still insisted on repairing her old one, but I simply said, “Merry Christmas”. I should have it set up by tomorrow.

We then stopped at Dollarama to pick up a few things. The place was packed, and they had Five Cashiers working to keep the line moving. Again, what we spent there, was half the cost of what the grocery store would have charged.

It was after 4:00, so using a Coupon we saved money on supper by eating at Arby’s. It also gave us a chance to rest our weary bodies and catch our breathes.

Though the Zehr’s grocery store was busy, they also had all the Cashiers working to keep the lines flowing. It’s a good thing we saved money on Supper, the Computer and at Dollarama.

It was a good thing we had our Folding Shopping Cart in the Car, to help us get everything upstairs.

We finished the evening off, watching a Hallmark Movie.
