Reasoning and Information.

I’m certain many off you are starting to get bored with the repeated rhetoric. about loss of sleep and Pain, but unfortunately it is part of our Reality. Believing that my changes to my Nighttime Micky are working much better, it appears that it will become a constant until my Surgical Recovery Period is over. There is one thing that has not been mentioned, that could also be a good reason for my improved sleep, the Nighttime Temperatures. The side of the bed I sleep on, is closest to the Window. It can get quite cold during the Winter when someone pulls the Bedding off you, not themselves, to hold through the night. What is causing most of my Hip/Leg Pain is Arthritis and it does not like Cold.

We even had time to have Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for lunch, before the Painter finally knocked on our door today. That Two and a Half Hour delay threw any chance of running errands right out the window. Between his first and second visit, I was able to start cutting up a fresh Pineapple, that we’ll use for desserts and extra toppings on Pizzas. I was just finishing up when he returned to observe what I was doing. A doctor had told him Pineapple works well for reducing Inflammation and when he tried some, found that it worked.

We added extra Cubed Pineapple on our Pizza for supper.

We’ll try to do tomorrow, what we could not do today.

Another Notice and Big Accident.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It seems that I haven’t been waking as much through the night and it shows when I am getting up earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, I am still waking Kathy when I inadvertently moan from the Hip/Leg Pain.

When I get up, it’s as quietly as possible, so that Kathy can possibly recover a bit of that lost sleep. It does not matter, because as soon as she senses my absence, she comes looking to see if I’m okay.

We had received another Notice from the Building Management Company on Monday, then another Yesterday, that the Painters would be coming in to paint the spots the Plasters had repaired, after the Electricians and Plumbers had made holes to run Utility Monitoring Equipment. The Notice said they would be around, between 9:00 and 5:00. That really cuts it down. When we opened the door to see if anyone was around, we found another Notice. We are wondering how many Trees were needed to make all the Notices that were dropped off at all the Apartments, including the empty ones, since this Company has taken over.

We spent the morning on our Computers and nobody knocked at our door. So I made a Veggie Omelet that we shared for lunch. Kathy said she didn’t need any dessert.

Once the Dishes were put away, we cut the Padding to size for the new Area Rug. We both struggled through it, but we got it done.

Kathy wanted to go to Walmart for walking exercise, but I was in no shape for that, so she went by herself. She had been gone nearly an Hour, when there was a Knock on the door. The Painter had finally arrived, to check the Paint Colour, that he’ll do tomorrow, and he was also there to sand the Plaster that has been used to patch the holes. Imagine Kathy’s surprise when she walked in to hear a Huge Shop Vac, collecting the dust the sanding was producing.

After the Painter left, Kathy said she was able to walk all the aisles Twice at Walmart, but she had not found what she had been looking for. So now we needed to look elsewhere.

We stopped at Wendy’s, where we used a Coupon to purchase supper, before going to Canadian Tire. We were there less than Fifteen Minutes, and we had what was needed.

On the way home, we had to make a detour through a Neighbourhood, because there was a big Accident blocking a high traffic intersection, that involved a Semi and a Car. Lots of Emergency Response Vehicles.

That walk helped settle our meal, but also had me taking an Extra Strength Tylenol as soon as we walked in the Apartment.

The Painter will be back Twice tomorrow, and we have errands to run.

Out With The Old and Two Trains.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Though we didn’t have anywhere pressing to go this morning, we were having breakfast before 8:00. What we didn’t know was that things were about to change.

We barely finished our Coffees when the Charitable Organization we had offered our old Studio Recliner Loveseat to, called to say they were on their way to pick it up. At least they called.

While waiting the Twenty Minutes we were told, I was tracking our latest On-Line Purchase. It was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday, so imagine my surprise when it showed that it was already Delivered. For those that don’t know, when we were Fulltiming, we had a Mailing Address, where everything was delivered to, that we continue to use to this day. Our Plan had been to continue Fulltiming after Covid cleared, but then Health Issues got in the way of the Plan. If we relocate our living address, we don’t have to go through the hassle of changing our Mailing Address with Doctors or Banking Institutions.

It felt good to have the Loveseat gone because it had been sitting in the middle of our Livingroom since our New Recliners had been delivered. We cleaned up the Area Rug and floor before heading out. It’s amazing what falls into furniture, that you didn’t realize that you dropped.

We were only at Guardian Storage a couple of minutes to pick up our delivery and we were heading back home, so we thought. A long fast-moving Freight Train changed that idea, so we circled back towards Central Avenue.

Being so close we stopped at Windsor Gas and Diesel. I needed to book an Oil Change and Battery Replacement for the Truck. Since Jim is swamped this week, I’ll drop it off to him next week.

Kathy decided to change out the Area Rug in our Livingroom, but when we unrolled the new one, it did not have a padding. That would have caused it to slide, causing a Tripping Hazard to anyone walking on it. They were available On-Line, but not until Friday.

We headed over to the Pioneer gas station to fill the Car, something I had Planned on doing this morning, but forgot because of the Train. We didn’t get in the driveway and had to wait for a slow-moving Freight Train to pass before we could fuel up.

At Walmart, the Associate told us they did not carry the Rug Pads, but there they were sitting on the shelf.

Though my Hip/Leg Pain was intense, we stopped at Pita Pit for their $7.00 Pita Specials. There are Three Locations in Windsor, but they all have this special on different days. We enjoy this version of Healthy Fast Food.

Due to the Pain, I’ll wait to trim the Padding tomorrow.
