Lots of Sirens.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

We both slept fair to midland last night and even a little later this morning.

Breakfast was really lite by sharing the last Two Yogurts and Trail Bars. Talk about cleaning out the Fridge. That also meant, we were able to make a very accurate Shopping List. We were only on our Computers long enough to drink our Coffees.

Just like when we were Fulltiming little things can amuse you. Earlier this week a home property that abuts the Ganatchio Trail had a Cement Pad poured next to their in-ground Pool. Today a pickup pulling a large Utility Trailer and Four Workers backed into the driveway. After untying the load, one Prefabricated Panel at a time was moved to the Pad. Within an Hour a medium sized Pool House had been assembled, shingled and fastened to the Pad.

We checked the downstairs Mailbox before going out the door, in case there might be more Coupons we could use. When we looked towards the yard where all the action had just taken place moments before, there wasn’t a single person around.

Our first stop was Wendy’s where we did use Coupons we already had to have lunch, before heading out.

Kathy needed to look for a new Housecoat, so we headed to Walmart. I dropped her off at one door but found a Handicap Parking Spot right outside the Grocery Section. When I went in that I found Bounty paper towels and Charmin toilet paper at prices I could not pass up. Kathy didn’t find what she was looking for, but I was happy.

Next we stopped at Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. This is our legal Mailing Address, the other one we have is because we live in that building. Kathy came out with her arms overflowing with Mail. Since this has happen before, she told me to sit still for a bit. There were Three Other People’s Mail all stuffed in with ours. It’s simple to read the address and put it in the right box, but someone wasn’t paying attention.

One of the pieces of Mail we got, meant we had to stop at Motor City Community Credit Union to make a deposit.

Out one driveway and in the next we went to Dollarama, to stock up on refreshments and healthy snacks at prices lower than the grocery store.

At Zehr’s grocery store we had a list that was Produce, Dairy and Frozen Foods. Luckily, they had a lot of Sale Prices so we left with a full shopping cart, that didn’t break the bank.

We had to use our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart to haul our purchases up to the Apartment. We also carried the lighter ones and barely fit in the elevator with our load. While I was putting things away, Kathy went back to the Car to bring up another load. We should be good for a few days.

After watching the 6 o’clock Local News, we started hearing Sirens, then more Sirens and minutes later even more Sirens. Kathy counted Four Fire Trucks, Three Ambulances and Five Police Cars, all turning up a street a Quarter Mile from us. Scanning the treetops, there was no visible Smoke. We’ll find out on tomorrow’s News.
