Back Order Arrives and A Prayer.

The added Extra Strength Tylenol only carried me until 2:00 this morning, before I had to add a second one for the rest of the night.

I actually lay in bed staring at the Clock, only to feel Kathy get up at 8:00. Taking my time, to make my way to the living room, I was surprised to find Kathy catching a few more minutes of shut eye. She was startled to see me standing there.

After having Toast for breakfast, we took our Coffees to the Computers. That all sounds so repetitive, but then things changed.

I’ve often mention that both Kathy and I have Sleep Apnea and use CPAP Machines to sleep. One of the first places of business we went to after my Re-Retirement this past January was to Vital-Aire, to get more supplies. Since they didn’t have everything on hand they said they would call us when things came in. Kathy and I stopped in again during the Winter Break in March and got our new Masks, but not everything was there, due to Back Order Issues.

Just as the Computers came On-Line this morning, we got the call, that the rest of our supplies were in. It didn’t take long for us to head out the door. The quickest way to get to Vital-Air was by the Expressway, so we arrived in less than a Half Hour, while following the speed limit. While I was parking the Car, Kathy was able to go inside and return with the remaining supplies.

We were on our way back towards home, when we stopped at Guardian Storage, to collect the last of this week’s Mail. It was then that we realized it was past 1:00 and we still had more errands to run. Strangely there were Coupons from Wendy’s in the Mail Kathy had just retrieved. Was that a sign or what?

We finished off our errands at Dollarama and Zehr’s grocery store before finally getting back to the Apartment. Even though the North Wind had been moderate, with the 63 F (17 C) temperature we were more than comfortable.

For anyone that has ever shopped at Kenny’s Grocery Outlet in Quartzsite, our good friends Wayne and Sue from Washington State reported that Kenny had a Stroke. Anyone that believes in the power of Prayer, it would be much appreciated at this time.

With the late lunch still keeping us satisfied, it was after 7:00 before we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Hawaiian Pizza for supper.

We also watched a couple of Hallmark Mystery Movies to pass the evening.

We’ll be seeing near summer like temperatures this weekend, but it will also be very Wet.

Bad Move and More Clarifications.

Last night I took my Nighttime Mickey without anything for Pain. That proved to be a big mistake. About Two Hours after going to bed the Hip/Leg Pain started. It was the result of standing to fold the Laundry yesterday and it was back with a vengeance.

Another Hour passed before I finally headed to the living room, to give Kathy some relief from my bouncing around and to take the Extra Strength Tylenol, that I missed before. It took another Hour before I could go back to bed. Being in my Recliner, was not comfortable enough for me to spend the night.

I still managed to be up by 8:00 this morning, and Kathy followed Thirty Minutes later. Clouds filled our sky until nearly 10:00 which slowly brought the near freezing temperatures up to the Low Forties for the day.

Breakfast was Over-Easy Eggs and Toast, with our Coffees served at the Computers.

In response to Nick Russell’s Mystery Books, Nick was a Former News Paper Owner and knew of the struggles authors went through to get books published. With some research he found that he could be Self Published with the help of Amazon. With the help of Miss Terry and Two other Proof Reader/Grammar Editors, one book was published, then the word got out. That could be the reason his Books might not be found in Libraries at this time.

Lunch was Leftover Ham and Stir-Fry Wraps. They always taste like they are freshly made. There were also Yogurt Cups with Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert that would hold us over until supper.

Kathy wanted to go for a walk, but knowing I could not keep up with her, I encouraged her to go through the Neighbourhood behind our building. While she was gone I chopped up the Fresh Pineapple we got the other day. I just got everything cleaned up, when Kathy walked in the Apartment with a big smile on her face. She’s making me jealous.

I’ve mentioned that the New Management Company for our building has been doing a lot of upgrades. When those upgrades involve your Apartment, they are required by Law to give a minimum of a 24 Hour Notice under the Landlord/Tenants Act. The amount of Notices that we’ve received since they took over, has contributed to a lot of Deforestation. They even put them at the doors, where there are no Tenants.

We didn’t feel hungry until the Local News was finished, so we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Veggie Pizza.

Having already taken my Nighttime Mickey, I’m having difficulty seeing this screen. I’ll let you know how it works tomorrow.
