Change and Sadness.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Whenever you go to bed the one thing you have on your mind is just to sleep. I couldn’t do that last night because I had Change. No, I didn’t have to change, but I had Change. As the saying goes “Opposites Attract”, it does not only apply to the way people find someone they have an attraction to, but Magnets as well. The particular Full-Face CPAP Mask I wear every night has Four Magnets that are used as quick connect fasteners. In the morning when I get up, I roll the Hose around the Machine, then put my Mask beside it. That is also the same spot that I leave my pocket Change at night. Last night when I went to put the Mask on, the Magnets would not attract. When I brushed the ends of the harness, I heard Change hitting the floor. Three of Four Magnets had taken what they thought was a just fee for their work. Looks like I might have to change where I leave my Change.

After waking a few times through the night, it was Kathy’s Phone going off at 8:03 that woke me. Knowing who it was, I immediately called the Doctor’s Office without checking the Voice Mail. When George answered he was happy to hear the Numbers I was reading from Kathy’s log. When I reminded him that her Numbers had started going up following my Surgery, because of the change in our eating habits, he agreed. He also agreed the Blood Test taken less than an Hour after a sweet breakfast had caused the dangerous number of 23. Now instead of Kathy checking her Blood Sugar Levels twice a day, she now has to check it once every other day. Kathy was happy to hear that.

We enjoyed the Fresh Blueberries on our Cereal before taking our Tea to the Computers.

Every so often, I don’t know why, but my Facebook account locks me out, then days later lets me back in. I basically use it to see what Friends and Family are up to, like we do with our Blog. I found that fellow RV blogger Bill Richardson had posted an interesting version of the Christmas SongLittle Drummer Boy”. That was an amazing adaptation, but before I could copy it, I was again thrown out of my account. He should add the shortcut on his Blog.

Speaking of Blogs I was reading A Place Called Away. Lorne and Sue Greene run a small independent Snack Bar during the summer called Cj’s Snack Shack, that just received all kinds of Awards in Brandon Manitoba. That’s what you call a business that strives to be the Best.

I made Homemade Tomato/Cheddar Soup for lunch. Like the last time I used Roma Tomatoes and they worked perfectly.

Since we wrapped the greater majority of our Christmas Gifts yesterday, it was now time to get things for one another. While I accomplished other chores around the Apartment, Kathy went shopping. Even though this is a weekday, she said Walmart was packed. She finally located what she wanted to buy, when a woman tried to take it away from her because she wanted it. Kathy held on tight and another couple sided with Kathy. That woman went off mumbling something before doing the same thing to another woman.

For supper we enjoyed Bacon/Veggie Wraps and in celebration of Kathy’s low numbers we enjoyed a small dish of Chapman’s Dutch Chocolate Frozen Yogurt.

On the sad side The Bayfield Bunch lost Kelly today after a long courageous battle with Liver Disease. Please pray for them.

My turn to go shopping tomorrow.
