Happy New Years Eve.

After getting up at a decent time today, as soon as we saw the wet pavement outside, I knew we would not be going too far. Since we live on the Eighth Floor of our building we have a bird’s eye view of traffic using Riverside Drive East as one of the ways of transversing the city. Even at that early hour on New Years Eve, the traffic was almost bumper to bumper.

Not only did we spread out our meals today, because we Planned on staying up to celebrate the occasion at Midnight, we made was to our daughter Karen and son-in-law Greg, to wish them a Happy Anniversary. Besides managing to get totally caught up on our Blog reading, I found that Joe and Nancy (An Indian and a Gypsy), were celebrating their 67th Anniversary today. Though they are not travelling as much as they did a few years back, Joe continues to keep us informed about their activities.

We’ve managed to stay awake and are celebrating with Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) that we got for Christmas. Like we will be saying to one another, we would again like to say to all our Readers. Be Safe and Happy New Year.
