Re-Evaluating.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After a restless Wednesday night, there was no time to sit around on Thursday morning. With another appointment at ARC (Advanced Rehabilitation Center). Though Kathy brought a book to read, she figured that my visits had been short and she was holding on to our Coats. Watching the going ons of other patients, she was surprised when I came out to say the Physiotherapist wanted to re-evaluate my progress. While doing what is called the Pendulum, the Pain level dramatically increases. After re-icing my Shoulder for a second time, then removing my Sling, she worked at reactivating movement in my arm. It was a good thing that I was laying down, or I would have fallen over. Though I ice my Shoulder daily, she insisted I increase the process.

We were both ready to get to sleep by 10:00 last night. Though I woke twice through the night, we both managed to sleep in this morning. With the outside temperature sitting at 43 F (6 C) we were in no rush to get out, but that all changed when we saw the new Friday forecast.

The forecast showed Rain starting this afternoon, so we were outside at 10:30. The forecast lied, we were a little wet by the time we got inside the Car.

Our first stop was Health First Pharmacy where I asked what one of my medication was used for. The night of my Shoulder Surgery, our daughter Karen had picked them up at the Hospital Pharmacy. When she later explained what they were, my brain was in a fog. It only took a moment before I was on my way out with renewed knowledge.

Though we needed to use the Wipers intermittently, we managed to collect our Mail at Guardian Storage, then heading over to Wendy’s for lunch. As we ate our meals, we could see people running outside from and to their cars while the Rain poured. Just as we were about to leave, the Rain stopped and there were streaks of blue sky breaking through the clouds.

By the time we turned on to Riverside Drive, we were again being hit with a light Rain. I dropped Kathy at the front entrance to our building. I walked in the rear entrance where that gave me a firsthand view that the Recycle Bins had been emptied. I did not even take my Hoodie off before heading back downstairs to empty our Containers.

Here is wishing all our followers a great weekend.
