I didn’t mention in Yesterday’s Blog how I had laid awake for nearly Two Hours before having to take a Regular Strength Tylenol. Within minutes I finally went to sleep. Surviving on Four Hours Sleep doing the work that I do is not a good thing. Even though we only went to bed a Half Hour later then we normally do last night being able to relax without worrying about what time I needed to get up made a difference. I was surprised that I only remember laying down then looking at the Clock Nine Hours later. I’ve said this before “I must have needed it”.

We enjoyed Toast for breakfast and took our Coffee/Tea to the Computers. The only Job Ads that were available today showed I had already applied for. The morning was spent catching up on Blogs that I somehow had missed. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to comment on more of them.

Since I didn’t get a chance to Rinse my Coveralls in the Pail last night I needed to do that before having lunch. Kathy watched from the door and was shocked how quickly the Hot Soapy Water turned to Sludge Black as I agitated the Coveralls with my stick. She recommended changing the Water immediately to get more grime out by leaving them soak.

Lunch was Chicken Sandwiches with Orange Slices and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

We needed to run errands so as soon as lunch was over we were heading out the door. It felt strange driving down Lauzon Parkway past the now empty Princess Auto building and driving out to Walker Road to the new Princess Auto location. The main reason for going there was in hopes of finding more size appropriate Wheels to use on Kathy’s Folding Shopping Cart. We did find Wheels that will work better and we’ll simply return the Lawn Mower Wheels from the Home Depot.

Since we were there we checked out the new store layout which allowed me to get a better idea of the cost of replacing the Tools that were stolen during the Break-In at work. It’s been a long time since I’ve bought any Tools and I was shocked that the prices were nearly Double from what I recalled paying. They’ll stay on those shelves a lot longer.

Our next stop was Guardian Storage where we got our Mail before heading back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. Kathy had me moving Boxes and Bins around so that she can sort through them without her injuring herself. I went through the Toolboxes that I carried in the Trailer and gathered a few Tools that I’ll bring to work to use but take home every night. We stopped at the Trailer to be certain everything was good. I even climbed on the roof to be sure there were no problems.

Our next stop was Dollarama where we planned on getting the Food Stocks on our List but we ended up getting more. Everyone knows how we enjoy the Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) that they sell. Lately it has been very difficult to find any in the different stores in our area. We have actually been rationing what we had but today there was a fresh supply filling one of their shelves. We picked Four Bottles to come home with us.

We finally made it to the Zehr’s grocery store where we finished getting the Produce, Dairy and Frozen Foods on our List.

By the time we had everything put away in the Apartment it was time to watch the News. On the 6 o’clock Local News they reported 42 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region. They presume the sudden increase in the Numbers is due to the Variant of Concern.

The Weather Network showed that our temperatures felt like 82 F (28 C) and we’ll have a few more days before the temperatures again feel like the Century Mark.

We finally had Italian Wedding Soup for supper along with Fresh Peaches that Kathy sliced for dessert.

We watched a “Hallmark Movie” this evening.

Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night involves putting on shoes a jacket and grabbing a flashlight.

  1. Have you looked at Canadian Tire for a new shopping cart? That new Princes Auto store is for sure a magnet for the guys and situated so that the women can venture somewhere else for shopping or looking.
