Reading, Errands and Rain.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Even though sleeping later this morning would have been nice when I saw it was 7:18 I chose to stay closer to my normal sleep time and got up. That means that there won’t be a big readjustment period to my sleep.

I had barely started getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy having sensed my absence came out to join me. Wanting something different we share Three Scrambled Eggs on Toast. Since we’ve been cutting back on our intakes we found this quite filling. Next time I get the urge we’ll try only Two Eggs.

We spent the morning on the Computers checking Messages, Job Ads and Blogs. There were no Jobs worth looking at today. I’ll make some calls after work this coming week. By lunchtime I had read all but Three Blogs that would get read later.

Lunch was Italian Wedding Soup but dessert was Bing Cherries, Cookies and Yogurt Cups.

We were out the door by 12:30 with a list of places to go and things to do. Our first stop was at Green Shield to drop off Kathy’s Claim Form from the Healthy Heals treatment this past Wednesday. Life just kept getting in the way. Now we should see our Refund by next weekend.

We then drove over to Guardian Storage where we did some reorganizing in our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. Kathy wants to start thinning out what we know we’ll never use again but there were heavier Boxes that she could not handle in the way.

From there we were in the shopping mode. Dollarama was our first stop where we saved money on our food purchases. Last week when we were there I noticed that they were already bringing in Halloween Decorations and Treats but forgot to mention it.

The next stop was the Bulk Barn where we again saved money by purchasing our Healthy Snacks at lower prices.

We finally arrived at Zehr’s grocery store where we picked up our Produce, Meats and Frozen Foods. We even managed to get some Vitamins while we were there. As we were leaving the sky had changed from Mostly Sunny to Threats Of Thunderstorms.

We needed to stop at Shoppers Drug Mart to get some Night-Time Tylenol for Body Aches and Pains that the grocery store did not have.

By the time we reached our building the Rain was coming down in waves and someone decided to park their car in front of the Rear Door Ramp. When it slowed we used our Folding Grocery Cart to bring everything to our Apartment. The Rain stopped by the time I parked the Car.

As promised we used the remaining Manwich as Spaghetti Sauce this evening but we used Grated Mozzarella Cheese instead of Parmesan so nothing goes to waste.

Our Sunday 6 o’clock Local News did not mention anything about the Coronavirus in the Windsor/Essex Region for the second day in a row. They did talk about the Olympics and the number of Medals the Canadian Athletes have won. Our temperature today felt like 81 F (27 C) until the Rain cooled things down. We can expect another cool day tomorrow until it slowly starts warning up towards the weekend.

We later watched the Season Finale of “The Good Witch” that we had missed last week.

I wonder what’s in store for tomorrow.

Krackers

A man called his family doctor. “Doctor my daughter just took my pen I was writing with and swallowed it. What should I do?”

The doctor said “Until I get there just use another pen.”

  1. Your egg sandwich looks yummy! I like cheese on mine though. A lot of running around but you sure got things done! Too bad weekends are so short!
