Freezing Cold On A Hot Day and Shift Explanation.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

When I looked outside like I do every morning before getting ready for work it was surprising to find an even Heavier Fog Covering. On the way to work down Riverside Drive this morning it looked like I was driving under a very low hanging Cloud hiding most of the trees.

After my walk around the Paint Line checking for problems I settled in to working on modifying Carriers for a new product. I had everything cut apart, straightened and partially reassembled by noon. That meant starting to add the Clips in place which would take the rest of the shift. The strange part was I only saw the Supervisor in the distance.

By the time I walked in to the Apartment Kathy was again wearing her Sweater. If you recall last year we were having issues with our Air Conditioner if it was on for more then a day. That cold was a shock to me after being exposed to high temperatures all day and Kathy was happy when I shut it off.

For supper neither of us were really hungry so we had a Store Bought Medium Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza.

An explanation about the Afternoon Shift that was being offered on yesterday’s Job Interview was from 3:30 in the afternoon until 2:00 in the morning. It’s often referred to as a Continental Shift because it’s from Monday to Thursday unless there’s a big push to fill an order. That place was as clean as our Apartment but was a Welding Fabrication Shop.

On the 6 o’clock Local News the Windsor/Essex Region had 7 New Coronavirus Cases bringing the Active Cases to 132. For a second day in a row we had another Coronavirus Death to our region.

The Humidex outside felt like 99 F (37 C) for the entire afternoon.

We started feeling a little hungry from our lite supper around 7:30 so Kathy made us each Strawberries on Yogurt as a dessert.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

You know your getting old when it takes twice as long to look half as good.
