We Missed The Moon, Went To Blythe, Crowds Are Thinning At Tyson Wells Road and Finicky Computer.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

Having gotten to bed slightly later last night Kathy was surprised that she got out of bed before me this morning. We knew that the “Once in a Lifetime Event” was happening this morning with the Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse but when you have Sleep Apnea maintaining a normal sleep pattern is more important. Besides the Dry Cold Air, you experience after dark here in the desert feels nearly as cold as the freezing temperatures the kids are getting back home. We would later see it through the pictures from other Bloggers or their Husbands when we would later get caught up on the Blogs on our Sidebar.

We had breakfast and got busy on the Computers by 8:30 MST this morning though Kathy’s Congestion was still giving her problems, she was being stubborn and didn’t want to take a Mucinex. After having our second hot cup of Tea at the Computers she finally had to take a Snap.

I busied myself getting the Pictures of the issues with the Trailer cropped and relabeled before sending them off to Stephanie at Leisure Trailer in Lakeshore. Instead of leaving the IMG. # I labeled them like I do the Captions on the Blog explaining the problems in each picture.

We kept lunch lite by having Chicken Noodle Soup along with Crackers with Cheese. While we were eating Kathy said even though she was feeling slightly better then she had been the Congestion just wouldn’t go away. After lunch we sat there reading the Mucinex package and found that the different tablets did different things and the regular one wasn’t doing what Kathy needed.
We were out the door by noon and at the Drugstore in Quartzite by 12:20. That was when we saw a sign that said they were closed for lunch. We never see this back home but we’re not there. I suggested walking around the remaining Vendors. Kathy said “Let’s go to Blythe”

By 1:00 we were at the Rite Aid in Blythe and they were better stocked then the Blythe Pharmacy that we were in last week had been. With a little help we found the Regular Mucinex and the DM but not the D which according to Kathy’s symptoms is the one she needed. Like Karen Pfundtner from RVING: THE USA IS OUR BIG BACKYARD had said her husband Steve needed to do for her. We had to get the Mucinex-D at the pharmacy desk where Kathy had to show her ID and they made a E-File in her name before selling it to her.

Since we were just across the street we went to Albertsons grocery store to get a few extra supplies. Knowing that this is Super Bowl LII Sunday we didn’t want to go near any stores that day but there was one benefit now however. The stores are putting out Fruit and Vegetable Trays for those having Home Parties. Kathy found a small Fruit Tray to bring Home with us. There were a few other things we picked up that will keep us clear of the stores this weekend.
Fruit and Vegetables alike packaged in many different sized trays.

It was nearly 3:30 MST when we finished shopping and our soup had long ago been digested. Kathy was in the mood for Tacos so we headed to Taco Bell. Kathy had her usual Crunch-Wrap Combo while I changed mine to a Burrito Combo. Most places you have to ask but this young Clerk automatically gave us the Seniors Discount. We were both satisfied but not stuffed when we left.

When we got back to Quartzsite we took the Tyson Wells Road to go Home. The crowds have really thinned but they still stop traffic and even some of the Vendors have pulled out. Heading down Arizona 95 we could see the walls had already been removed from the Big Tent.
This is definitely an Oldie but Goodie.
Even though we had left the Windows and Vents open but the Window Shades down to keep the 79 F (26 C) heat out we still had to scramble to cool the Trailer down when we got in. It didn’t take long to get things put away before we settled in at the Computers. Around 8:30 we started feeling the need for a snack so Kathy split that Small Fruit Tray that she had picked up earlier for us to share. Healthy and Filling.

We all know how finicky Computers can be. Tonight, one of my Spreadsheets refused to add only certain cells into their Calculations. After several attempts to correct it I knew what needed to be done. I have found in the past the only way to fix it is to copy the Information to another page and Delete the problem page. It only took couple of hours to do.
Never get tired of these.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings when it gets here. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment and click on the pictures to enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Words of Inspiration

We are made happy when reason can discover no occasion for it. The memory of some past moments is more persuasive than the experience of present ones.
