Blogger-Fest 2018 and We're Cracking Up.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

After enjoying a wonderful evening by the Campfire with our friends Wayne and Sue last night was it any wonder that once we got to bed we slept like a couple of rocks. All snuggled up under our warm winter Blankets I suddenly felt Kathy stirring next to me which is odd. When I checked my watch I practically jumped out of bed because we had slept in.

Attendees of Blogger-Fest 2018.
It didn’t take long to put breakfast together and get all the Window Shades up. We still cycled the Furnace because it was just a bit too cold to be comfortable. As soon as our Coffee/Tea was finished it was only minutes later that I was out the door.
Left Gaelyn (Geogypsy) Right Paula (In the Sahadows)
With today being the Fourth Annual Blogger-Fest Paula (Shadowmoss) from the blog (In the Shadows) had asked that I set up the signs just in case she was delayed on the highway. It took very little time and I was back Home in less then Fifteen Minutes and the only reason it took so long was I drive to keep the dust down.
Jane and Steve (Rolling From Wasaga)
While I had been gone Kathy had been getting trays ready to plate the Peanut Butter/Chocolate Squares and the Chocolate Pecan Squares. After I cleaned up we worked together to cut the Chocolate and put them all on Cupcake Papers for ease of serving. This allows someone to snack without being worried about a plate. Once these were plated on trays they were put back in the fridge until after we had lunch.
Stacie and Bob (Maxx Trails)
Dave and Cheryl (Our View From Here)
Knowing there were no Tables to use at the Ramada (Pavilion) I pulled out Tables from our Basement and got that all loaded in the Truck along with our Chairs. Our lunch was lite but we took our time heading out the door.
Deb and Tom (Celebrating the Dance)
It took less than Five Minutes to cruise up to the Ramada. Paula was already there and worried that nobody was going to show up. By the time we had our Table set up and our Snacks out people just started arriving. Even though Blogger Fest was slated to start at 1:00 Paula allowed Thirty Minutes for everyone to get a quick Hello in.
Bill (On Our Way) and Patsy (Chillin' with Patsy)
Using a similar format as Last Year everyone had the chance to introduce themselves and their Blogs. Then George from Our Awesome Travels took the Group Pictures and Bill from On our Way took Aerial Pictures with his Drone. Then it was Snack and Socializing Time giving everyone personal time to reacquaint themselves more personally. We had a couple who were Blog Followers and they needed information about Solar Panels and Batteries. There were a few of us more then willing to help them understand how it all worked.
Blog Followers Kay and Red from Texas
There had been plenty of snacks but there wasn’t much left by the end of the gathering. Shortly after 3:30 things started to wind down and people started heading off. Some will be stopping off at our site when they get back from some short trips. Another Successful Blogger-Fest into the books for another year. Good job Paula!
George and Suzie (Our Awesome Travels)
The other day when we were returning to La Posa South LTVA a passing truck threw a stone that glanced off our windshield. We looked when we got Home and didn’t see anything wrong. As we were about to leave the Ramada this afternoon we found where the stone had struck along with an Eight Inch Crack on Kathy’s side of the Truck.

Not really hungry and not in the mood to cook anything we headed over to Carl’s Jr. for a lite supper. It gave us a chance to relax and people watch.
A Crack in the upper corner of our windshield.
We managed to miss the Sunset but we enjoyed the day and our temperatures are going to get really comfortable for the next couple of weeks. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment and click on the pictures to enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  5. Enjoyed meeting the two of you at the Bloggerfest and I'm so sorry for mixing up the photos. I must have missed getting photos of you two because we were sitting next to each other.
Terrible to find out you have a cracked windshield. Hopefully, it will hold together until you can find a place to fix it.

  6. Ugh! Windshield troubles. My toad is on its eight windshield and already has two chips. I guess I'm keeping glass repair shops in business single handedly. :c(

  9. It was nice to meet you and Kathy in person. We'll look you up when we get settled at LaPosa. We'll be moving up there on Thursday.
Sorry to hear about the windshield, but think what would happen if we didn't have them! At least the price is coming down, but then again so is the quality and strength.
