There were two of us down
for the count last night. Waking every couple of hours just seemed to make the
night feel that much longer. Having taken a Regular Strength Tylenol and a Tylenol
Night-Time Sinus tablets didn’t seem to help me rest. Every time that I woke
I took another Halls Cough Drop to keep
myself breathing and get rid of the scratchiness in my throat.
We both woke around 8:30
MST and appreciated the warmth from our Coffee/Tea
soothing our throats. The way this congestion makes you feel is like you are
wearing a Bushel Basket for your
head. It also seemed to take forever to get our morning reading done finding it
difficult to concentrate.
Kathy loves to research
things on Google and this morning was no different looking up the
symptoms of The Crud. According to
the doctors it takes approximately Five
Days after you are exposed to the germ to come down with the Symptoms. It is also during that time
period that you are the most contagious. It will last up to two weeks and the Symptoms are close to that of the Flu and if not careful could lead to Pneumonia.
We were both dragging the
rest of the day and even though we had all the windows and the door open we were
glued to our recliners. This evening I brought out the Buckley’s Cough Syrup in order to continue breathing. The advertisement
says “It Tastes Awful, but it works”
and they are right. Hopefully I’ll be feeling somewhat better by morning. Thanks for following along, feel free to
leave a comment and click on the pictures to enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry you guys are sick. Take it easy.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you and Kathy are suffering. On the news they said this is a really bad flu season and other germs floating about. Take it easy and get as much rest as you can. Maybe some home made soup will help.
