Cleaning Things Out, Sharing With Our Neighbour and Greeting Fellow RV Bloggers.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

Trying not to overdo the use of the Generic Mucinex last night we both had positive and negative effects. Those tablets act as a Diuretic to dry out the Congestion but it also dries everything else. The positive was that we weren’t getting up all night for a drink of water but the negative was we were still Tossing and Turning.
The Sun was well risen by the time we got out of bed this morning and we were happy to see the clear skies. There were also numerous water puddles still around well past noon. After having Breakfast, we enjoyed our two cups of warm refreshments at the Computers but by 10:00 it was time to get moving.

Once the inside chores were finished it was time to clean things up outside, in other words dumping our Tanks. After loading the Barrels in the back of the Truck the Black Tank was the first one emptied. Not having a hose connection to flush it out I’ve learned how to use the Grey Water to help flush the Black Tank where there is no build up after the process is done. We have also been extending the time between this process so today required a double run. The handy part about using the Macerator is that it pumps the waste up into the Barrel in the back of the Truck and makes it easier for dumping.

By 11:00 I was sitting in line to dump the Waste where RV’s Dump-Out because they have pressurized water to rinse out the Barrel unlike the gravity water at the Waste Tank Only Dump-Out. I met a Tim from Victoria Island in British Columbia asking where he’d fill his Fresh Water. They had just arrived the other day so I was more then happy to explain he was at the spot to take care of all his needs and where each was.

I was Home by noon and today Kathy was having her leftovers from last night while she made me a Roast Pork Sandwich.

When we’d finished eating I went back outside to finish the process that I had started this morning. Kathy also came outside where she used our Sweeper Magnet to pick up a bunch of Screws, Nails and Staples from a pile of Ashes that someone had dumped on the ground from another nearby Firepit instead of bringing them to the trash. She didn’t want any of those finding their way into our tires or anyone else’s.

I made a quick stop to inform our neighbour Wayne that I’d be bringing Fresh Water back so I’d be dropping some off.

Just as I was approaching the Dumping Station for the second time today I noticed a very distinct Diesel Pusher getting in line to empty their Tanks. When I verified the Michigan license plates I walked up and greeted the driver. It was Tom Duchaine from the blog Celebrating the Dance. It seems that he and Deb have had their share of Bugs this winter.
We both had to move up where Deb had parked the Jeep off to the side so she could guide Tom where to stop. I spoke briefly with her and it seems she got rid of a Cold she had only to come down with Bronchitis. They were both tired so I said we’d get together in a few days when they were feeling better.
After filling our Fresh Water Barrel and then our Tank at our Trailer I was off to our neighbours Wayne and Sue’s trailer to give them the rest of the water. Lifting a Barrel with Twenty Gallons of Water from the back of the Truck is not fun so it was much easier just to let them have it. Their Fresh Water Barrel is only Fifteen Gallons so this saved him at least one trip.
We discussed a few things we both plan on getting done before we head for Home in the spring. We also noticed Two more RVs pulling in on the other side of their Trailer.
It was past 4:00 when I got back Home. Shortly afterwards Kathy had me start to grill a couple of Boneless Pork Chops while she sautéed some Baby Spinach and cooked some Perogies for our supper. It all tasted wonderful and Kathy topped it off with a plate with Strawberries, Clementine Oranges along with a Germain Chocolate Cup Cake for dessert.
We’re both going to try going to sleep without any medication tonight. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment and click on the pictures to enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
