Our Location today is La Posa South
L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.
Once again we would like to invite Bloggers and Followers alike to the 4th Annual Blogger-Fest taking place at the La Posa South LTVA Ramada (Pavilion)
between 1-4 pm tomorrow.
We weren’t in any rush to get up this
morning so I made certain to stay under the warm Blankets until nearly 8:00 this morning. When opening the Window Shades we welcomed the sight of
the Sun and even though we already
knew that today was going to be cooler, our Solar Panels were busy charging our Batteries.
As we sat having breakfast we realized that
we still had to return to the Vendors Area and we didn’t want to wait until the
weekend because people that had been busy with their jobs during the week would
be bringing their families out. That’s a great way to spend family time
together but Infants in strollers
start screaming because they can’t understand why there not able to play. Even Young Children feel the same way but
they are with their parents. We appreciate young families but just not when
they are screaming all around us.
After our normal reading on the Computers and chores Kathy started making
the Snacks that we’ll be brining to
the Blogger-Fest tomorrow while I composed
a detailed letter of what it takes to get the Permit to use the Ramada.
As mentioned before Kathy and I like to explore but due to Manufacturing Problems with our RV this year we are doing Day
Trips while sitting mostly still. Passing on the information will allow for
others to do the same thing in case we are not in Quartzsite to attend in the future.
Kathy had me chop up some Chicken and Vegetables that she then sautéed along with some Free Rice that we got at the Big Tent last Saturday. In only a few minutes we had a Hot Meal that would last us for the rest of the afternoon.
Around 1:00 we headed off to Tyson Wells Road to see a couple of Vendors.
This time I was able to drop Kathy off at the right aisles and by the time I parked
the Truck and got to the Vendor Kathy was standing there smiling
waiting for me. Not like the other day when I couldn’t find her and started
thinking the worst. Since there had been an oversight on the Vendor’s part the other day there was
no charge.
We then had to find a Tool Vendor to purchase a Hole Punch so
that I could add more holes in a Belt I
purchased. It wasn’t until I got Home that I realized the Vendor had sold me a belt much larger
then I needed. It took a bit of walking but now I have my own punch for future
adjustments.
Kathy wanted to look around a few of the
Clothing Vendors so we crossed the road. After looking around
unsuccessfully we were starting to get tired but there was no place to sit down.
We saw a couple with a unique portable chair so we asked where they got it and
they told us. Kathy didn’t like the idea but we were headed back into the Big Tent.
Following the instructions of where the Vendor was we struck out. There was
plenty of people inside the Tent but
nothing like the packed masses we’d seen on Saturday. Kathy could calmly walk
around today and actually see what the Vendors
were selling. We walked the entire Tent
again and she found a good looking top at a reasonable price inside the Big Tent and she also got some free advice
that she’ll try if we’re in the area next year. We also found a couple more
things that followed us Home and those Vendors were already lowering their
prices.
It was nearly 4:00 so Kathy suggested we
have Tacos from one of the Food Vendors. They were very skinny, had
been deep fried and they dropped a ton of Sour Cream on them. Not something we’ll
order again.
While eating those we saw a lot of
people eating Ice Cream so we
purchased our tickets and stood in line. There on the Selection Board was Viagra
Chip. It was put there as a joke but lots of people asked for it and all
got the same answer, they were all out. It gave everyone a good laugh.
Even though we probably wore off both
snacks walking all the way back to the truck we didn’t need anything to eat for
supper. Instead we set up the Firepit
and invited Wayne and Sue over for a Campfire.
We had great time visiting and sharing experiences. By the time we said Good
Night at 9:00 we were nearly all froze. Thanks
for following along, feel free to leave a comment and click on the pictures to
enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

I just love the big tent. What I don't love is the strollers and big dogs!! Lowering their prices? I'll have to remember that for next year!
ReplyDeleteSounds like another good day. A campfire is always a nice way to end the day.
