Our Location today is La Posa South
L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.
After sleeping in yesterday
the only thing we could do to sleep properly last night was to stay up later. The
next thing I knew was it was just a bit before 8:00 MST which put me right back
on schedule for getting up. I’d barely gotten things ready for breakfast and Kathy
was coming down the stairs. Now we were both waking up at the time we should be
getting up at.
After finishing our breakfast
we settled in at the Computers where
we each only drank a single cup of Coffee/Tea.
People were walking around with jackets and gloves even though the temperatures
weren’t that low the Humidity was.
Like I have mentioned before we may be used to the high Humidity cold back Home in Ontario but this dryer climate seems to have
more bite to it.
By 10:00 we busied
ourselves with indoor chores and opening windows. The breeze coming from the
North was to the Roadside of the Trailer and we weren’t feeling it. I
also managed to check the new power cord for our Weboost in the Truck. The 12-Volt Power Line still has to be replaced here in the Trailer.
We worked together putting
together lunch. While Kathy made us each a Black
Forest Ham Vegetable Wraps I was cutting up the last of our Strawberries for our dessert. It all
tasted great and was healthy at the same time.
After lunch Kathy washed
the Dishes before doing some Bookkeeping to do and Data Entries to make on our Expenditure Spreadsheet.
I attempted to finish
running the Propane Line for our new
Blue Flame Heater. I know this
sounds like a broken record and some people say just pay the money and RV Lifestyles will install it for you. They would install it
right where we would trip on it coming down our stairs and we would probably
break our toes on that. It would have been quick and easy for the installer but
not where we wanted it out of the way. Even today after using an Endoscope this project not only has me Baffled. When a Twenty-Five Foot Fish is sent less the Three Feet and can’t be seen or felt anywhere that is a Mystery. For now we’ll put it aside and
move on to something else.
We headed out around 2:00
this afternoon to check Vendors that
are located further up Tyson Wells Road. We have seen them many times
in passing but never stopped to check them out. There were a couple of Vendors east of the ADOT Yard that had some Surplus Items as well as Used
Sports Equipment but nothing we were looking for. Driving towards the opposite
end of the Vendors west of the Yard all
we could see were Rock and Mineral Vendors. Not what we wanted!
We headed back to the main Vendor Area on Tyson Wells Road near where the Big Tent
will soon be open. The other day Kathy had made a Bargain Purchase from a Vendor
selling Leather Goods. We walked
the entire area again this afternoon and he was no longer there. It was nearly
5:00 by the time we decided to go for supper.
Kathy had a taste for Tacos so the best place in town would
be Taco Mio.
The parking lot was an example of what was inside, they were both packed. As
soon as we were seated and Kathy saw Fish
and Chips on the Menu the idea
of Tacos went out the window. The
food was delicious as usual but they were training Two New Waitresses. We got our Meals
but they kind of forgot a few things so we ended up with free Iced Teas. Managements way of apologizing.
It was dark by the time we
got back to La Posa South LTVA. We took
the long way in to see how effective our Solar
Lights on the Antenna Mast show
up proved that I’ll be making an adjustment to them soon.
Tomorrow is another day and
we don’t know what we’ll be doing at this point. Thanks for following along, feel free to
leave a comment and click on the pictures to enlarge them. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

I love the doggies with their sun hats.
ReplyDeleteWe had our Blue flame heater installed exactly where we wanted it and were given a few choices for the location, couple hours and was done.
