Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario,
Canada.
We are truly enjoying the
nights that we sleep like rocks. It’s almost like you lay your head on the
pillow and with the blink of your eyes the Sun
has come up welcoming you to a new day. As soon as we’d finished our breakfast
we were back to our old routine of having our Coffee over at the Computers.
Kathy keeps following the news
about North
Korea with a bit of anxiety of
how that might affect our southern travels this coming winter. We can only pray
that cooler heads will prevail putting an end to this conflict that seems to be
building.
Most of our chores today
were done on the Computers in the
form of Bookkeeping and Research due in part to the 102 F (39 C) Humidex. The only
outdoor chore was to walk down to the Park Trash and Recycle Area to get rid of our rubbish. On the return I picked
up the Truck from the Overflow
Parking Area and brought it back
to our site. The reason for parking it there is to allow anyone visiting us to park
on our lot and not bother our neighbours.
For our late lunch we kept
it lite with Kathy serving a Ham/Vegetable
Wrap with a Clementine Orange on
the side for dessert.
We would continue our Research until later in the afternoon
when it was time to head over to the Park Clubhouse. We were there
for the End of the Season Farewell
Dinner that was being catered by the 19th Hole Restaurant. The food was
well prepared, tasty and well worth the cost of the tickets. There were also Two Bottles of Complimentary Wine on
each of the tables for everyone to enjoy. This was another chance to meet other
park residents that we didn’t know before.

Everyone at our table was
talking about where they go Golfing in Florida for the winter. When they asked us where we were going
and we told them they had a hard time believing what we told them. They couldn’t
believe how much it cost to stay at
L.T.V.A. and how easy it was to set up camp in the desert. Then they wanted
to know more about the Solar Panels
and how it works. Now that they know our site location we expect a few visits
so they can see the Solar Power System
themselves.
The entertainment for this
evening was a Three Member Group
that sang a variety of songs but mostly hits from the Seventies and Eighties.
If you recall the most popular Eighties
Music was Disco and whenever
they were playing that nobody was on the Dance
Floor. When they played the Seventies
Music the Dance Floor was packed
and the place was hopping. It was after 9:00 when Kathy and I decided to leave.
We were just getting in our car when they started playing our Wedding Song. If the Mosquitos hadn’t been out there we
would have danced in the Parking Lot.
When I first set up our Solar Panels I said I would post Diagrams on how simple it is to do. With
everything we’ve had to deal with this summer it has not happened. This winter will
not be the Working Trip that we had
last winter so I will get that posted first on the Blog and then in a Page Tab
at the top of our Blog Site.
Thanks for your concern
about my sister’s accident yesterday but like we said luckily no one was
injured. Tomorrow I’m hoping to get the Car
and Truck washed and waxed in order
to get things scratched off our To-Do
List. Thanks for
following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

None of your quarter panels are the same colour.
Sounds like a good time. I'll be interested to see your solar panel diagrams.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to meeting up with you eventually somewhere in the LTVA, we might have questions about how our own solar works by then - you know how it goes with remembering everything the service guys tell you.. ;)
