Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario,
Canada.
Even though it was nearly
1:00 in the morning before I got to bed I was well rested and awake before 8:00.
With the increase to comfortable night time temperatures we didn’t even need to
use the Bedcover. Because Kathy had
taken Night-Time Sinus Medication I’d
nearly finished my morning reading by the time she got up around 9:00.
Other then doing our
morning chores we spent the better part of the morning doing a number of things
on our Computers with the windows
open. The entire time the Wind was
gusting above 20 MPH so to get a
better idea of weather conditions for the rest of the day we check all of our Weather Apps on the Computer. There was a Weather Warning issued this morning that really scared Kathy. The
forecast for our area was for High Winds
gusting to as much as 60 MPH
with Severe Thunderstorms that had
the possibility of producing Hail.
For lunch Kathy wanted
something far from the ordinary. After cleaning up the last of the Strawberries from the fridge she made Pancakes. While she cooked the Pancakes as they were cooked I added
the Butter and Fruit to dress them up a bit. They tasted as good as they looked.
Kathy and I like the way Wildwood Golf
and RV Park tries hard to keep
the Park
clean and as part of our lease agreement it stipulates that we keep our sites clean
of unnecessary debris. The neighbours that had not shown up so far this season
suddenly appeared just before lunch and they were both busy weeding their
Flowerbeds and picking up debris that had been stored under their RV. They must have gotten a call from
the Park to clean it up because less
then an hour after they arrived so did Joe the Park Owner. We could hear them being given a warning that if it
happens again they will be told to leave.
This afternoon I was on the
Computer doing more Fuel Data Entries when our neighbour
Hugh came knocking on the door. He had also heard about the forecasted High Winds and was trying to close his Awning but it jammed. He had somehow managed
to jam the Inner Tension Arms deep
inside the Outer Sleeves. It took
some doing but together we managed to get it unjammed and safely closed up.
By the time I returned Home
Kathy was already busy making Homemade
Spaghetti Sauce. With our already having Carbs for lunch she kept the portions on the smaller side. As usual
it tasted wonderful and we weren’t stuffed.

Kathy had a letter that needed to be mailed so while she did the dishes I walked
to front of the park to put it in the Mailbox
by the road. The sky had been very cloud covered when I left our site but
it was getting darker by the minute as I headed back Home. I’d just turned the
corner onto our street when the first drops started coming down. I manage to
close the door behind me before the hard rain started again. Like the other day
it would rain for a while then stop before starting again. When I checked our Rain Gauge at 10:00 we had only gotten
an Inch and a Half of Rain this
evening.
Tomorrow we have a few
errands that we’ll need to take care of. Thanks for following along and feel free
to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
