Full Moon and Sixteen Days.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Well I was hoping to get to the Gym this morning, but with the lack of sleep on Friday Night, I wasn’t betting on it. Kathy knew I might not be next to her when she woke up this morning. Marlene’s Comment suggested that it could have been due to the Full Moon, and I might agree with her because it happened again last night. Kathy was all smiles to see me looking back at her when she opened her eyes.

We spent the morning on the Computers. Sorry I haven’t been commenting like I used to. I was saving the time to catch up on posts that I had missed. Those Comments of our heading back to the Southwest have been stirring up our wanderlust. Looking at reality, the soonest that might happen would be next Winter. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

When it came time for lunch, we chose to have Split Pea with Ham Soup. It’s low in calories, warms you up and staves off any hunger until your next meal.

It’s been Sixteen Days, so it was time to do the Laundry again. I started with only Three Loads in the Washers. That gave me time enough to finish sorting and pretreating the rest. As I moved a load to a Dryer, the next thing I did was to refill the Washer with another load. That allowed others to do their washing as well.

I always chuckle to myself when a couple comes in while I am folding the Laundry. There I was today folding the fitted sheets while the woman watched. As they were leaving she said “Good Job”. The husband could only shake his head as he left. ( He probably watches his wife do it all rather than helping.) It was past 6:00 when I returned to the Apartment with the last of the Six Loads all folded.

We went to Wendy’s where we used a Coupon for supper. We even had a chance take our time and talk as we dined in because everyone else was doing Take-Out.

Our next stop was the Zehr’s grocery store. Using our Shopping List we were able to get most of what we were looking for.

There was enough to haul upstairs we used our Folding Shopping Cart.

Two Days off is too short and this was only One. Like I said to Mile, I don’t want to make a habit of working the weekends. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

  1. Anyone who can fold fitted sheets well is to be admired. This is a task at which I fall very short. Glad you had at least one day off. Seem like since you always seem to perform above and beyond at your job, somebody should notice and there should be an above and beyond recompense of some kind. Like a day off. Or lots of $$. Oh well. Life is what it is.

  2. I love pea soup too. Unfortunately. The crackers add carbs and i find it hard not to add them.
