Coming and Going.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Even though it was quite cold when I headed out to the Truck this morning, there was surprisingly no Frost on the Windows. The ride was uneventful even though there seemed to be more traffic than normal.

With no new Feedscrews ready to put through the PTA I simply stuck to repairs and lent a hand where it was needed. By the end of the day materials for Four New Feedscrews were taken in, as well as Four Finished Feedscrews sent out for delivery.

After stopping at Guardian Storage to pick up the Mail, I stopped at Motor City Community Credit Union to deposit my Pay-cheque. With the Gusting Winds you could feel the cold.

Kathy had been busy through the day cleaning out the old End-Tables and replacing them with the new ones pictured in last night’s Blog. They definitely look better as well as giving us more storage.

Using a longer Tape Measure that I brought from home this morning, we remeasured the Plasma Transfer Arc, to find it only had a clearance of 333 Inches which is less than recorded yesterday. Since the O.D. Grinder could only handle a unit 295 Inches long and the CNC Mill 300 Inches, the job was strictly for welding.

As mentioned before these Feedscrews are used in Textiles and Plastic Industries. Some are used in the Plastic Recycling Plants. Rotating at high speeds they basically shred recycled plastics to be reused again. Paul our controller did not specify what that large unit was intended to be used for.

Neither of us were very hungry even though we’d both been quite busy today, so we simply shared another Store-Bought Thin Crust Medium Pizza with extra Mozzarella Cheese for supper.

The Weather Guessers are warning of a Severe Cold Front coming from the Texas Panhandle, through the Central States heading our way on Saturday Morning. They believe these temperatures will be the coldest we have seen in over Fifty Years. They joked about wearing your warmest coat with your second warmest coat on top. Glad I have the day off.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

Krackers

A Roman walks into a bar and says, “A martinus please.”

The bartender says, “You mean a martini?”

The Roman says, “If I’d wanted a double, I’d have asked for one.”

  1. Hope it does not get as cold as predicted. Nice end tables and always nice to have extra storage space.
