Wet Day, Getting Organized and Reading Blogs.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Even though today was another day of rest from my job I was up shortly after 7:00 this morning. By doing that today makes it easier for me getting out of bed tomorrow because it keeps me closer to my normal sleep routine.

It also gives me a chance to get caught up on chores that become a problem on hot days. Having brought the Laundry Hamper out to the living room before going to bed last night as soon as I was dressed I started my sorting and treating the clothes that were in need of such.

I just finished doing that when Kathy joined me for breakfast. This morning we had Toast with Rhubarb Sauce as the side. That brings back memories from when I ate that as a child.

The Second Floor Laundry Room was empty when I arrived so it didn’t take long before the Washers were busy and I headed back to the Apartment to finish my Coffee. Considering it had been Raining since the early morning hours the Coffee was well appreciated. This also gave me the chance to check The Weather Network, The Windsor Star and my E-mail before returning downstairs. There would be no Job Applications made today.

Again there was nobody else around so I was only minutes transferring things from the Washers to the Dryers. Still being required to wear Masks in public areas of the building has led to my not staying until everything is done. Heading back to the Apartment during that time allows me to breath freely and without restriction.

I was reading Blogs on our Sidebar when I again had to go check the Dryers. There was another woman there with her clothes but when I checked the last Two Dryers that were still running everything was as wet as when I put it in. Even after running them through a Second Cycle they were still wet. It would not be until after 12:00 that I would have everything dry and folded back at the Apartment.

Kathy had been busy reorganizing the Refrigerator. She successfully used the trays she got at Dollarama but the one’s we got at Showcase would not work.

A nice bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup helped warm us slightly as the Rain continued. We also shared a Raspberry French Pastry for dessert along with Yogurt Cups.

As I’ve mentioned before I have been doing good as far as reading what everyone has been writing on their Blogs even having to Catch Up on some during the weekends. In order to do that I’ve had to limit the Comments I have been leaving. I have been trying to make them on different posts so everyone knows that I am still following their adventures. I spent most of the afternoon doing that except for the few times that I was checking out the inside of my Eye Lids.

Even though it was barely 4:00 we were both feeling like it was past 7:00. We had Meatballs and Gravy on Egg Noodles with Homemade Apple Sauce for dessert.

The 6 o’clock Local News was delayed by a Golf Tournament for Five Minutes. They gave a general Coronavirus Count for the province of Ontario but not independently for the Windsor/Essex Region itself.

Our high temperature felt like 77 F (25 C) this afternoon but with all this Humidity in the air it will start to climb throughout the coming week.

I got more Blog reading in this evening as it continues to Rain. We’ll see what happens tomorrow at work as well as looking for another job.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
