Well Rested, Morning Walk and Searching For Necessities.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Knowing that I had a Three Day Weekend ahead of me really lifted my spirits. Waking around the time I’m used to doing during the week I simply rolled over for more much appreciated sack time.

Local Hockey Player graduates.

I’d barely gotten out of the bedroom when Kathy came rushing out thinking I was late for work. It was wonderful being able to share breakfast together. We even spent some time checking Messages and Job Ads on the Computers before heading out.

Having convinced Kathy to go for early morning Walks was better then during the heat of the day is paying off. Taking that first step helped invigorate her into doing more walking. Today I followed her on her newly found walking route. Many have said she could simply follow the Ganatchio Trail but she finds it too crowded with many Cyclist coming too close for comfort. By walking the Neighbourhoods behind the buildings there is also plenty of Shade from the heat of the Sun.

When we got back we crossed the road and enjoyed time watching a few things along the Riverfront. There were two guys trying their luck fishing as well as something having the Police Boat racing across the River. We also wondered why people would have Swimming Pools while living on the River’s Edge.

It felt wonderful to enjoy a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch along with Orange Slices, Cookies and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

After finishing our Hot Drinks back at the Computers I cleaned the Lenses on my Welding Shield before packing it away for Monday’s Weld Test.

I somehow forgot my Clear Safety Glasses at work so we decided it would be nice to get out for a while.

Our first stop was Guardian Storage first to pickup the only piece of Mail we had then we returned the Two Folding Chairs now filling the most of our backseat to our Storage Unit.

After checking on the Trailer we headed over to the old Princess Auto we were surprised to find the store with very little in the way of stock. It has been converted to a Clearance Center. I managed to get additional Clear Lenses for my Welding Shield and Ear Plugs but no Safety Glasses.

We stopped at Canadian Tire looking for Safety Glasses that I’ll need for Monday. While I checked out the Tool Department Kathy went shopping for some needed supplies. Now we are both ready for things we plan on doing.

We headed over to the Tecumseh Mall. We stopped at the Bell Outlet wanting to get some information of ways on reducing our Monthly Bill. It seems the cost keeps going up while the service keeps going down. We got lots of information but I still have Calls to make.

We drove across the street to Wendy’s Drive-Thru where we picked up Chicken Wraps, Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks. Not only were they tasty, healthy but reasonably priced as well.

On the 6 o’clock Local News they only reported Coronavirus Cases for the province of Ontario but not for the Windsor/Essex Region.

The high temperature today felt like 84 F (29 C) this afternoon which was far more comfortable then the last number of days.

A dip in the pool or the river.

We plan on watching a couple Murder Mysteries this evening. This is the kind of day I could once again get used to. Hoping tomorrow is close to the same.
