That’s a switch! Every night after I post our Blog the first thing I do is to look to be certain it published properly. That’s when I notice who has written before I close up for the night. Last night a few titles caught my eye and the next thing I knew was reading Blogs that I normally read in the morning. That was not a wise idea to do that because it can upset your body’s internal clock. Instead I was surprised that I actually slept in this morning.

When I started opening the Balcony Door Blind it was easy to see why sleeping in was possible. There was no Sunshine in sight just Clouds and large Puddles in the parking lot. I’d barely turned on the Computers and started getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me less then Ten Minutes after I got out of bed.

Checking The Weather Network was slightly discouraging when for the next week it showed there will only be a few hours at a time that did not show Rain in the forecast.

I managed to apply for a Job this morning that I had not seen before and this Company appears to do the type of work I enjoy.

While I was making the bed this morning Mary from Healthy Heals called to reschedule Kathy’s Thursday Appointment. Another of her patients that she did last Monday later tested Positive for Coronavirus. Now Mary has to Quarantine for Fourteen Days while monitoring herself and to notify anyone she came in contact with after seeing that patient. They will also have to Quarantine themselves.

When it came time for lunch it was a mixed meal. We had Chicken and Rice Soup along with the Leftover German Chocolate Birthday Cake our daughter sent home with us last night.

After lunch had settled we were soon heading out the door wearing Raincoats as it was still coming down. Our first stop was Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. Carol who was supposed to be working from home due to the Provincial Lock-Down had stopped in to reboot their Computer System. We’ll all be happy when this is over with.

One of the pieces of Mail caused us to stop at the Motor City Community Credit Union. While I made a few transactions I was also able to check a few other things with our accounts.

At the Dollarama we were able to cross quite a few things off of our Shopping List. For every dollar we spent there we saved that much compare to if we had gotten it at the grocery store.

In order to save more money we stopped at the Bulk Barn to get Pecans and Dates for snacks at much lower prices then the grocery store.

Not having a choice we then had to go to Zehr’s grocery store to get Produce, Dairy and Frozen Foods not available at the other stores.

By the time the Car was loaded we knew it would be a late supper by the time we put everything away. Instead we went through the Arby’s Drive-Thru and ordered Two Greek Gyros. We sat in the parking lot enjoying our tasty meal.

Back at the building it seemed everyone had the same idea for getting groceries today so there were no Shopping Carts downstairs to use. Kathy and I each brought a few Shopping Bags up to the Apartment. Kathy started putting the Frozen Foods away while I returned to the Car with our Two Wheeled Folding Cart. When I returned the Cart was overflowing plus I was still carrying the last Two Bags.

Someone asked quite some time back in a Comment why it took so long to put groceries away in our Apartment. First this is a Single Bedroom Apartment with a small Kitchen. Second we had the same problem when we moved the Food here from our Trailer. That’s right we had more Pantry Space in our Trailer.

We finally sat down with a Coffee just on time for the 6 o’clock Local News to start. We were told there were 41 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region but there has been a dramatic increase in Vaccinations in the area.

Today’s high temperature of 67 F (19.6 C) happened shortly after midnight but with the continued Rain it only dropped until this afternoon where it reached 59 F (15 C) with 100% Humidity. It was qute Foggy outside.

Checking the Computer the Job I applied for this morning the Employer wanted me to take an Online Aptitude Test. They are all just Common Sense and took about Ten Minutes to complete.

We later watched a “Yard Sale Mystery” and “Criminal Minds” for some entertainment.

We hope the weather won’t be as wet tomorrow.

  1. I remember #RVTetris!! Maybe you could pick up a cupboard on FB marketplace or Kijiji to give you more storage, if you have the room for it that is.

  2. Gosh that german chocolate cake looks yummy! I know I'm always rearranging things to get them to fit. It's tough in a small place! Good luck with the job application!

  3. Your Dollarama must be like our Dollar Tree I save so much money versus buying it at the grocery store.

I know I have been reading you guys for a while but due to my CRS, I do not recall if it rained this much last year.
