Getting Ready.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Last night I managed to sleep much better by not even giving the new Job a second thought. Kathy however kept on waking throughout the night for no unknown reason.

Again when I opened the Balcony Blinds the sky was filled with Clouds that would take well into the afternoon before they partially disappeared. Being able to check my Computer before Kathy came out to join me I was receiving notifications that Two of the Resumes I had submitted at the beginning of the month were finally being viewed by the Employers themselves. Both had over a Hundred and Fifty Submissions to review. Eve though I have plenty of experience necessary for all of the jobs that I applied for Employers might be looking for someone they can train to their way of doing things or that they can let go before their Ninety Days. Remember how that happened to me at Windsor Laser.

We kept lunch lite by having Italian Wedding Soup and a Yogurt Cup along with Maple Cookies for dessert.

We’d seen the extended weather forecast earlier this morning so after lunch the first thing I did was to remove the winter cover off our Air Conditioner. That’s right our Humidex for this week will be just shy of the Century Mark before cooling back to seasonal temperatures.

Kathy spent time cleaning off the Balcony as well as the Balcony Door Glass. Amazing how dirty Dust and Rain can make things.

I headed downstairs to make certain the Truck would start tomorrow morning. I also checked to be certain all the Tools I might needed were in the Toolboxes I’d be taking in with me. I found it strange that I could not find my Safety Glasses or my Measuring Tape. Back in the Apartment I checked my Tool Pouch without any Luck. I just couldn’t remember where they were and I’d need them in the morning.

We had Perogies for supper along with a Yogurt Cup and Date Square for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News we learned there were 46 New Coronavirus Cases in the Windsor/Essex Region bringing the total Active Cases to 374.

Our high temperature today reached 68 F (20 C).

This as sunny as it got.

The News had barely finished when I remembered storing my Safety Glasses and Tape Measure in the Containers in the Trailer Basement. Kathy stayed behind while I drove out to Guardian Storage. It took Two Minutes to locate the Bin, One Minute to get what I needed and another Minute before I was heading back to the Apartment.

We later watched a Murder Mystery on television.

I mentioned that I might be working beyond an Eight Hour Shifts at this Job. I will try to keep up reading the Blogs we follow as well as trying to write about our days in our Blog. I might not have the time to Comment but will try.

I remember years ago being moved from One Plant to Another and even though I knew the Plant and the People I would be working with I always felt nervous the night before. It’s strange that I don’t feel that way today.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!
