Eating Well, Good Workout, Talking To Family and The Debate.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We both slept quite well last night but we still stayed in bed past 8:00 this morning. It was nice seeing the Sun breaking through the Clouds which will help to dry the presently saturated ground.
We kept breakfast Lite by having a Muffin with our Coffee/Tea that we brought to the Computers to finish.

While reading Blogs we follow we noticed many of them experiencing similar discoveries as ourselves at the retail outlets of Empty Shelves. There are a few stores that are actually setting limits so that the Hoarders would not leave others short on simple necessities that they needed.
For lunch we shared a Roast Pork Sandwich with some Cheese and a small Caesar Salad. Kathy topped it off with Mixed Berries on Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert.

Since we didn’t have much going on this afternoon Kathy suggested that I go workout but she wasn’t sure what she was going to do so I used the Truck to go to Planet Fitness. Wow, when I walked in around 2:30 there wasn’t even Twenty People working out. I managed to get my entire expanded routine completed as well as a full Warm-Up and Cool-Down Cardio Workouts. I was feeling great but then I looked at the time. It was 5:45 when I finished my shower and was heading back to the Apartment.
Kathy cooked the last of the Hungarian Hurka along with some Asparagus for supper with an Apple Sauce Cup for dessert. We forgot about the 6 o’clock Local News so we’ll try to watch the 11 o’clock Local News.

While I was gone Kathy spoke with our daughter Karen on the phone for nearly an Hour. With her exposure to Students at the University Of Windsor it would not be wise to visit with her in person at the moment. She said people are being extremely cautious around the University.

Our granddaughter Kylla just returned from visiting her sister Ashley in Spain. The Airports are jammed packed and everyone is being tested to see if they were healthy enough to fly home but when she got back to Canada there was no screening at all. She has to Self Quarantine which is hard to do when you live with your parents.

Kathy then communicated with Ashley on Facebook. According to Ashley Spain has a Curfew going in the last couple of days. Spain wants everyone to stay home unless you are going to get food, go to doctors or go out to eat. There are Monitors that actually stop you to inquire where you are going. If you are just going for a walk you are told to go home. So far she is feeling just fine.

We watched the Democratic Presidential Debate this evening before watching the 11 o’clock Local News. We’ll be busy tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Sounds like Ontario is hunkering down too. You guys have twice as many cases as we do in BC so I guess that makes sense. Time to tape 2 cans of diced tomatoes together and stay home to exercise?

  3. We have a relative trying to get back from Spain too. She hasn't been able to get a direct flight.

  4. Sounds like you two are batning down the hatches. That's good. Amazing what's going on. Luckily, I've missed everything being in the desert. Glad you two are well.

  5. With current technology it is now much easier to keep up with your loved ones that live far away.

Looking at your ice cream I remembered that is one aisle I failed to check. I made a list but forgot it at home.
