Many of you can relate to Working long hours at your career. Raising your families. Buying a home and paying all the bills related to being homeowners and parents. We're now retired and don't need all that work and expense. Now "It's about time" and what we do to follow our dreams.

Healthy Heals, Planet Fitness, Walking Around and Tasty Meal.

Even after getting to bed earlier last night we both slept until after 9:00 this morning. Not something you want to do when you have an appointment at noon.
The clouds just hung around when we opened the Blinds making us think we needed to find something to do later in the day. Breakfast was a little more rushed than normal because we wanted to do a bit of cleaning before Mary would arrive. Surprisingly everything was ready before 11:00 so we were able to relax. That gave me time to update our Expenditure Spreadsheet and I had it all finished by noon.

Mary from Healthy Heals was right on schedule at 12:30. Someone leaving the building had seen the load that she was carrying so they let her right in. The next thing we knew she was knocking on our door. For the number of years that she has been tending to Kathy’s feet she has become more of a friend then a stranger but rather then talking about Family today it was all about the Coronavirus. We exchanged some of the things we’d seen happening in the stores.

It was past 1:30 before Mary had left and we worked together getting our very late lunch ready. We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Apple Sauce for our dessert. It would be enough to hold us over until supper.

Kathy wanted to go do some walking so I left her the Car and took the Truck. It was past 2:00 by the time I arrived at Planet Fitness. For it being the middle of the week and the middle of the day it was still very busy. After completing my Warm-Up Cardio I managed to complete all my Free-Weight routine at the higher weigh level with all the added routines. With a bit of Resistance Exercises and my Cool-Down Cardio completed a Warm Shower was more then welcomed.

Using a Coupon I stopped at Arby’s where I picked up a couple of Greek Gyros for our supper. I arrived back at the Apartment just before 6:00. Supper was delicious but we had the Local News playing in the background while we finished our meal.

Kathy had managed to walk around Walmart as well as Zehr’s and had arrived home only a short time before I did.

We watched a few different programs this evening before calling it a night. Hopefully we’ll start getting used to this DST soon. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Takes a little time for your internal clock to adjust to DST. I always have problems heading home each spring getting used to the change in time. Glad Kathy is feeling better and getting her exercise.

  2. Thank goodness Daylight Savings Time no longer affects me as I have enough problems sleeping.

    You take your exercising seriously and put in the time. BTW do you have to take your own towel when you take a shower or do they provide it for you?
