Suspicious Activity, Canada’s Hot Spot and Super Tuesday Leadup.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

One of the advantages of publishing our Blog early last night was getting to bed early. That gave us both a solid night’s sleep that had us both awake shortly after 7:00 this morning.

Even though there was plenty of Cloud cover when we first looked at The Weather Network it was surprising to see that the temperature had already risen to 43 F (6 C) by 9:00 this morning. We spent only part of the morning getting caught up on our reading.

One of the things we do is to monitor our Bank and Credit Activity which a lot of people fail to do. We also keep our Receipts and enter them on a Spreadsheet so we know where our money is going. While checking those accounts this morning we noticed something that didn’t quite add up so I had to call. Once it was established that I was who I claimed to be Amy informed me there had been Suspicious Activity that had occurred and there was a new card in the Mail. Kathy’s card was not affected because when we are together I pay for the purchases.
For lunch Kathy recreated some of the Leftover Meat Sauce from last night’s supper to make Sloppy Joe Sandwiches. We also ate the Leftover Chocolate Cream Pie she made yesterday. It was all tasty and satisfying.

I called VitalAire to see if Kathy’s new CPAP Mask had arrived yet. They still have no idea on it’s delivery date.

Back to the Computers we double checked all our accounts making certain they tallied with our Spreadsheet. Things are tight enough that we don’t need some thief’s help at spending our hard earned cash.
Notice the difference between Windsor and Quaartzsite on the top line.
Kathy found something else she needed to look into while at the same time I had more data entries to make on another Spreadsheet that I use for our Blog. Before I knew it Kathy had made Beef Stroganoff using up the last of the Meat Sauce from last night’s supper. Of course we shared a Clementine Orange, had Apple Sauce Cups and some Tea Biscuits for dessert.
We watched the 6 o’clock Local News where the local Weather Guesser said Windsor was the Hot Spot for Canada today having reached 52 F (11C). We also watched an episode of Law and Order before muting the television for a bit. As stated before we are trying to learn what takes place in the US political arena so we surfed between a few channels covering the Pre-Super Tuesday Election going ons. It really is amazing how the different channels have different takes on the same Candidates. May the best person win is all we can say.

Tomorrow there’s plenty to do so we’ll keep you informed. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Five years ago I decided to go paperless on everything from bank statements to all our utilities and credit cards. Though I agree one needs to keep up with everything that is charged.

I always ask for a receipt and though I wish I was able to keep up with posting to worksheets I do not have the software to do so...I, therefore, relly on my handwritten spreadsheets as I like to know where my money goes.

Tomorrow is an important day as it is Super Tuesday and I hope my fellow Texans show up at the polls!

  2. I always check my accounts, but have only once been stung. You do seem to have more than your fair share of bank problems.

  3. Hope your sort out this suspicious activity, we have monitored our credit for years now. Highly recommend it. And yay, rednecks are back... :D

  4. I started a spread sheet of income and expenses when we went fulltime in 2010. I continue now even thought we don't even own an RV anymore. I like to know where our money goes. Seems that you do too.

  5. I don't use a spreadsheet anymore for income and expenses but do use Quicken to log everything. Been doing it since I retired in 2007. I've never had a problem with suspicious activity, knock on wood. Glad the weather is getting warmer.
