Wrapping Christmas Gifts and Still Raining

Our Location today is at Wildwood Golf and RV Park, McGregor, Ontario.

With all the Rain we had during the night we had no problem falling asleep but the Rain didn’t last. Then when the temperatures dipped close to that Freezing Mark we pulled the covers up without hesitation. The problem with that combination is that you also don’t have a problem sleeping in until after 8:00 in the morning.

At least the Sun was out quickly drying up all the puddles. When you looked out at the Golf Course you could see Golfers wearing Long Pants, Coats, Hats and Gloves you knew that it was cold.

After a Lite Breakfast we got comfortable with our Coffee/Tea at the Computers. It was strange when the glare that had been shining through our back window onto our screens disappeared and we had to turn on our Reading Lights because the Sun had disappeared behind a bank of Clouds. The forecast for our area was not a good one as a fact we lucked out with the few hours of Sunlight we did receive.

Kevin called to wish Kathy a Happy Mothers Day then a short while later our granddaughter Kylla did the same. Once the morning chores were finished we started reorganizing the stack of Gifts on our Couch choosing the ones we wanted to wrap the very first. We also gathered the Boxes and Gift Wrap that we would be using.
Before going any further Kathy made lunch by making Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, along with a small Macaroni Salad and Berry covered Yogurt for our dessert.

Once the island was cleared off we got down to business. As Kathy would locate the desired Gift she would write out the Gift Tags before handing them to me to wrap. She also busied herself making the Gift-Bags that we will deliver them in. We finally called it a day at 6:30 having wrapped and packed close to Thirty Gifts.

It was also around that time that the Rain started coming down again and has not let up since.
For supper Kathy recreated Leftover Pastry into a dessert covered with the Leftover Mixed Berries. She also cooked the Leftover Perogies and added Leftover Shredded Cheese.

After washing the dishes we headed back to the Computers. It wasn’t long after that Karen called asking what we were up to. When I explained that we had been wrapping Christmas Gifts and why we were doing them now she had a better grasp of it then she did the other day. She also talked to Kathy and wished her a Happy Mothers Day.

With errands to run tomorrow we’ll probably not get any more wrapping done. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
