After finally starting to experience some Springtime Weather yesterday and breathing all that Fresh Air we both slept soundly last night. After waking to the sound of the Brood of Starlings living under our neighbour’s Fifth Wheel I rolled over trying unsuccessfully to fall back to sleep. Finally I got up and started organizing things in the Kitchen before 7:30. The Sun was shining brightly and there wasn’t a Cloud in the Sky but the temperature was still below the 50 F (10 C) mark at that time.

Kathy sensed my absence and we were soon having our Muffin along with a Banana for breakfast to help tide us over until lunch. We took our Coffee/Tea to the Computers to catch up on what is happening. With not so many Blogs to read today I started my morning chores earlier allowing me to start doing more Christmas Gift wrapping before 9:30.
All the Christmas Gifts are gone, just a lone Birthday Gift remains.
The pile on the couch was slowly disappearing. Kathy hauled all the Gift Bags up to put on our bed then after catching her breathe continued the chore of designating who received what Gift. By 1:00 there was nothing left on the couch with only a dozen more Gifts left on the counter to wrap but we had to stop for lunch.
We had Italian Wedding Soup along with a Yogurt Cup and a few Cookies. Looking out while we ate we saw the sky filling with Clouds. The forecast for this afternoon was for Rain. With all the Rain we have had lately our Grass was growing like crazy and needed to be cut before anymore Rain.

It took less then an Hour to mow, trim and clean up our lawn. While I was outside Kathy had been busy wrapping not Christmas Gifts but some special Birthday Gifts that we also have to deliver.

We kept at the wrapping and finished the last one just after 5:00. We still had to finish packing lots of Gifts into the Gift Bags so we started hauling them downstairs Two at a time making certain that all 90 Gifts will be delivered at our Merry Thanksmas Celebration.

We think we have been getting tired a lot lately partially because we are eating far less then normal. Looking outside there was Rain on our Windows but we were too worn out to cook so we headed back to McDonald’s in Essex.

When we left Home go out we forgot to grab the Camera thinking the Rain would just get harder. Instead it seemed to Rain all around us. As we neared Essex there was a beautiful Rainbow and we had no Camera. When we arrived at McDonald’s we could see Rain falling in the direction of our Park.

We needed to relax when we got Home so we watched the movie “The Girl On The Train” starring Emily Blunt. It was a Mystery Drama that was hard to follow in the beginning but was well played out. There is some Sexually Explicit Material to a short extent. We gave it a Six out of Ten.

Tomorrow will be a busy day as we reclaim our Home and run a few errands. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  3. Nice you got the wrapping done and out of the way. Great you were able to get your lawn work done too before more rain. The park doesn't take care of that for you? Maybe because it's your home space?

  4. That is one chore that is so nice to have done. My hands hurt just thinking about all that wrapping. I just recorded Girl on the Train. Haven't watched it yet.

  5. I am sure it feels good to have all the wrapping out of the way. The weather here has also included rain but we did have 4 days of sunshine and as I write this I can see a break in the clouds and blue sky. Hope your day is sunny, also. You and Kathy take care.

  6. My gosh, you sure do your Christmas shopping and wrapping super early. And 90 of them? I'd go broke. Still it's a huge job out of the way. Congratulations.

  7. Congratulations on getting all your presents wrapped. Your Italian wedding soup looks delicious, is it home made?

I would kill for an Oreo cookie, the doctor banned them from my "diet" it is probably one of the few items that I have actually followed their advice on.
