It felt wonderful waking up to near 60 degree temperatures inside the Trailer this morning and not needing to turn on the heat. Looking outside was a different story though from all the Rain we had overnight we couldn’t even make out the Fence on the other side of the Golf Course because of the mist in the air.

Due to our cutting back on the amount of food that we have been eating lately and all the snacks that we were served at last night’s visit we were still feeling full to the point that the only thing we had for breakfast was our Coffee/Tea that we had while sitting at the Computers.

Our friend Vera called on our Home Phone this morning and she had a quick visit with Kathy but made arrangements that we’ll get together in the near future.
Even though we still were not feeling hungry by lunch time we had Split Pea Soup as a way of warming us up. We also finished the small piece of Chocolate Cake that was sent Home with us last night.

I waited until after eating lunch to attempt to call Verizon back. After being disconnected Three Times last night I figured taking care of this would take the rest of the day. I was surprised when the Verizon Directory Computer actually connected me so that I could pay our bill for the amount that I calculated. As soon as I received the Confirmation E-Mail I called Verizon again to make certain the account was recognized as Paid-in-Full and that it was disconnected. The representative agreed with my figures and verified that the MiFi Hotspot was now turned off.

Kathy had been busy making Data Entries on our Expenditure Spreadsheet and needed a break. It was around that time that our neighbours Maynard and Marva showed up to open their Trailer for the season. Seeing them struggling I went out to say hello and help them out. Maynard has been having Health Issues but was still trying to do things. It took me less then Ten Minutes to hook up their Water, hook up the Electricity, install their Battery and help them to get the Slides out. Maynard had been scheduled for Hip Surgery but due to Heart Problems it was postponed. We spoke for a Half Hour before they headed for home.

It was only minutes later when I was back inside that the Rain started coming down.

Still not feeling hungry after 7:00 Kathy made some Waffles she had recently picked up. They weren’t too big so we were satisfied with their small size.

You can only sit at the Computer so much in a day so we watched the movie “Going In Style” starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. It was a comedy that had us laughing even during the serious parts.

Tomorrow we have more errands to run. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  4. Glad your weather is getting warmer too bad about all the rain.

It was very nice of you to help your neighbors out in particular because he is not in good health. I do not understand though, they have a brick and sticks home but they also have an RV where you are staying?

  5. It's inspiring to read your travel adventures aboard your RV. Best of luck as you continue your journey together. By the way, I love Kathy's recipes, and my personal favorites are banana fritters with carmel walnut sauce, date sandwich cookie, and honey garlic chicken wings. If your RV happens to take you to Carmel, Indiana, I hope you'll have the time to visit KingCal Kitchen http://www.kingcalmeals.com .
