We had a reasonably good night’s sleep with me only moving a few times.
With Yogurt Cups and Cookies for breakfast we spent the rest of the morning on the Computers, until it was nearly time for lunch. Wanting to make room in the Freezer, so it could be filled this afternoon, we had the last of the Individual Shepherds Pies for lunch.
Once the dishes were all cleaned up we were out the door. Surprisingly, the Northern Wind almost made us wish we were wearing warmer clothes, but once we got down near the Car, the Sun started to bake us.
Our
first stop was Dollarama, so we
could start stocking up on Juices and Beverages that
will be too heavy for Kathy to haul. She keeps saying she can do it,
which she can, but I don’t want her hurting herself in the process.
Of course, they didn’t have any Juice in
the middle of the week so we’ll try another outlet tomorrow.
Knowing we still had to do the Grocery Store, we first stopped at Arby’s, where we shared a Reuben Sandwich and some Cheese Sticks. That along with each a Drink held us over for the evening.
Since many people that are still working stop at the Grocery Store before going home, you would think they would have more than Two Cashiers open. Too many stores are wanting you to use the Self-Check-Out, but most people in this City are resistant to that.
I was just finishing getting everything put away, as the 6 o’clock Local News was finishing. You don’t leave Frozen Foods melt on the counter.
Kathy wants to be with me for my Pre-Op Session at the Hospital tomorrow, so we’ll be in bed early, because I have to be there as if I was still working and it could take all morning. I know two people that will need a Snap later in the day.
