Beating A Storm and Another Mystery.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After a lite breakfast, Juice, Meds and Tea we started by checking The Weather Network. What they forecasted was a very soggy day ahead of us. With something that would tie up most of my afternoon, we headed out the door with our Raincoats in hand early.

The sky was already heavy with Clouds, but at least it was not wet yet. It was around 11:00 as we were leaving and realized we were both feeling hungry, breakfast had been too lite. Seeing we had Burger King coupons over the visor, that’s where we headed for lunch. It was enjoyable just getting out and satisfying enough to hold us over until supper.

The next place we headed was the nearby Zehr’s grocery store. They have been criticized about High Prices recently, but today surprised us with Sales on most of the Produce we were there for. The one thing they continue to be bad for, is on a Saturday Afternoon, only having Three Cashiers Open, while people stand in line ignoring the Self-Checkouts. Though it wasn’t that much walking, my Hip/Leg Pain was intense enough that I took an Extra Strength Tylenol as soon as I got in the Car.

I’m told the more I walk the better off I will be. Are they Joking?

The Clouds were getting darker as we headed for home, but not a drop of Rain fell.

It was past 2:00 by the time I started filling our Pill Doucettes with Medications and Vitamins, but this was different. When you get Prescriptions every Ninety Days, after some time you start to accumulate extras. So to even things off as well as the fact that my Surgery is next Wednesday, I filled Seven Weeks of Doucettes. Hoping to feel better before the next time happens.

It was nearly 5:00 by the time everything was put away and recorded. We worked together chopping Vegetables and adding them to a Meat Loaf. While it was in the oven we also sauteed a couple of Zucchini as sides. We shared a bottle of Carbonated Juice (Fake Wine) as a beverage and small dish of Frozen Yogurt for dessert.

Though the Clouds got very dark as we ate and were heard some distant Thunder, it never Rained before the Clouds thinned.

This does not happen often, but we found another Murder Mystery to watch for the second night in a row.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. The cashiers at the grocery store probably don't want to work on weekends and the working population wants to shop on weekends when they have time.
