Coming Around, No Hip/Leg Improvement and Bad Carnival Ride.

Since we had an appointment later this afternoon, I went in to work earlier. The goal was to get the Feedscrew loaded in the PTA, warmed up and ready to start the welding process as soon as Surough arrived. I was running the weld test when he arrived, and it worked perfectly.

With his increased confidence at running the Plasma Transfer Arc, I was able to plug a Centering Hole on another Unit that was about to be shipped to the Customer. I was proud when I returned to find Surough had made adjustments on his own, by using the coaching I have been passing on to him. Mile is impressed with his progress but figures he should be further along. It’s not that easy to pick up operating the PTA and welding itself cannot be rushed, because if you do it all goes South. Before I left early for the day, I was able to show him how to run a Mixer Flight. He’ll have to finish the job himself.

Since my Hip/Leg Pain was again intensifying, I called Kathy as I was leaving the Plant so that she could meet me down by the Car. That saved me from having to walk up to the Apartment then back down.

We had the chance to sit and talk while enjoying lunch at Arby’s before our appointment.

We arrived with time to spare at our Family Doctor’s Office and within Five Minutes we brought to an Examination Room. There we waited Ten Minutes before George came to see us. He addressed all our questions which helped ease some concerns. Then to verify what he thought could be a problem he sent us both for X-rays.

We went to our favourite Clear Imaging location and within Five Minutes of registering we were both brought into personal cubicles. We waited there for over Thirty Minutes before being called separately. They had Kathy lay on the Table, but these are not the Old X-ray Tables of years ago. Instead of having Kathy roll this way or that way, the technician started remotely spinning the Table. Kathy had to stop her saying she was going to be sick. Kathy went and sat in the Car while I stood for my Chest X-rays.

Heading to our Pharmacy every bump or turn was making her feel worse. Kathy stayed in the Car to try to stop the world from spinning. I went in only to find out they won’t have the Cream until tomorrow.

Even walking from the Car to the Apartment, Kathy thought that she was going to lose her supper that she hadn’t eaten yet. She compared it to a Bad Carnival Ride and said she wasn’t going on that one again.

We finally had Chicken Noodle Soup for supper after watching the 6 o’clock Local News. That finally settled her stomach.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day for the both of us.

How do you measure a snake?

In inches; snakes don’t have feet!

  1. You need to get off your feet and let your hip/leg heal. I admire your work ethic but am worried you are doing irreparable damage to yourself by not taking care of yourself.
