Getting Back.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After Monday being so busy along with the lack of sleep on Sunday Night when our heads hit the pillows last night we were gone. I only woke a couple of times but immediately fell back to sleep. The Pounding Headaches were a thing of the past but we still felt achiness that slowly diminished throughout the day.

Since the New Rental Company has taken over the building every time they are doing any kind of repairs they send a notice to all the tenants. The latest one stated they would be shutting off the Water to the building from 9:00 until 6:00 November First and Second. As typical I would get up at my usual time and fill a Pail and Water Jug that morning. Imagine trying to flush the toilet at 7:30 and there was already no WATER. Luckily we had a jug of Drinking Water available.

Always find small towns appealing.

We spent the morning getting adjustments made to our scheduling and settled on Chicken Noodle Soup with Cheese on Crackers for lunch with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

I spent time getting the Blog together in part until it was time go to work.

I’d no sooner walked in the door when Mile the Owner was right there to see how I was before scooting off to other challenges. According to the other workers I spoke to last Thursday I was looking sickly then. Alec was already working on the job that would take more than my entire shift to complete. It felt good to be clocking out at 12:15.

Looking back at the weekend and planning for the future.

A warm shower also helped ease the achiness that seem to be the lingering effects of the weekend but did not wake me enough to publish this early. I am so looking forward to returning to the Day Shift and Kathy will agree to that. Unfortunately right now things that were behind their scheduled delivery date are getting out the door which is not only making the customers happy.

Today Wednesday the Water is off again but at least I had things ready early this morning. Hopefully you’ll see another posting really soon.
