Getting Things Done and Turning White.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

To say I was asleep before my head hit the pillow last night would be an understatement and I don’t recall rolling over even once throughout the night.

Looking out the Balcony Door this morning it appeared we could expect a storm at any minute. That was fine with us because we had some catching up to do because of all the delays we faced through this past week. This morning after getting things sorted, we spent more time getting caught up reading Blogs. (I really feel jealous of our friends south of the border right now even if some are facing challenges.)

Just before we sat down for lunch, we witnessed the early signs of the season as we watched the surrounding area begin to turn White. We finished the Leftover Stir-Fry as Veggie Wraps before we buckled down to get our chores completed.

Besides washing Three Pair of Coveralls I also had Three Weeks of Laundry to do. It would take until dinner time since there are more tenants using the in-house Laundry Room lately. Kathy was busy dusting, cleaning and organizing not only the kitchen but she also switched her Summer clothes for the Winter ones.

When I returned with all the Folded Laundry Kathy was busy making some Chili for supper that she served along with a slice of Tuxedo Cake for dessert.

We took the time to watch a Hallmark Christmas Special this evening which helped to lift our spirits somewhat. As I have written before the Afternoon Shift is an Anti-Social Shift and we miss each other's company.

Even after a good night’s sleep we need more. Hopefully I’ll have more to write about tomorrow.

You Might Be a Redneck If

You think you are an entrepreneur because of the "Dirt for Sale" sign in the front yard.

  1. I meant to congratulate you to your new fifth wheel. Hopefully you get to spend some nice time with it and we are looking forward to seeing you making some upgrades to it, although this might have to wait until the weather warms up.
