Recovering, On Their Way and A Special Celebration

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

As tired as I was when I went to bed last night waking every hour was not what was expected. It was nice to be in bed for nearly Nine Hours, but I still woke up tired. Of course, listening to the Wind vibrating the Balcony Railing all night did not help either.

We spent most of the morning on the Computers reading Blogs. I only had the chance to comment on a few of them. Reading about battles with pesky Squirrels, Sxxw covered roads, to going from New Mexico into Arizona and getting ready for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday that many will be celebrating next weekend.

Then I had to take a break from that for a very good reason. When I mentioned adding Solar Panels onto our new Fifth Wheel our friend Marlene from Marlene and Benno’s Odysseys on Land and Water left a comment. She informed us that Amazon was having a Sale on Solar Panels. These are the same Panels we had on our former Fifth Wheel, and it is costing nearly Half the price. They will be arriving on Monday according to the Confirmation E-mail I received.

We enjoyed having Veggie Wraps for lunch along with a small piece of Chocolate Cake for dessert. It was not much later that we were heading out the door. We both dressed a bit warmer for this outing, but Kathy said she should have layered up more as we walked out to the Car.

We arrived at the Nursing Home to enjoy an All-Occasion Celebration with my Aunt Anna. Homes like this are still under Protocol and administer a Covid Test to everyone coming to visit as well as the Employees every week.

My Aunt has always been a person who likes to share with everyone, so she put this together with the help of my cousins Jackie and Susan. Even though it has been nearly a Year since falling and breaking her Hip and Leg she continues to do therapy so she will no longer have to use a Wheelchair. Kathy helped by making a Fruit Salad we brought from home.

Staff and Patients along with the few Family Members came and went while all going away with a smile, memories as well as a snack. It was hard to say goodbye, but the party had to end before the regularly scheduled dinner time.

Even with cold temperatures forecasted for tomorrow we’ll be getting things done at the Trailer.

  3. I'm sure it brings great enjoyment when you visit your Aunt Anna. She looks great. Buying panels now. Hopefully, I will be reading about your adventures in a few years.
