Reading Blogs and Changes Beginning.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Being able to publish another Blog last night started to make me feel alive again. It had my brain thinking and it wasn’t all about work. Top that off with another full night’s sleep I woke up feeling the way I should always feel.

After a lite breakfast (snacks to clean out the Fridge) we busied ourselves with minor chores along with Blog Reading to get caught up with what our friends are up to. Our Good Friends Wayne and Sue from Washington state are already set up in La Posa South near Quartzsite. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that we’ll be joining them in a few years.

Kathy recreated the Leftover Chili by adding it on top of Egg Noodles with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese for our lunch. It tasted great.

We were still trying to organize the Kitchen after our New Fridge was delivered on Friday. This unit is much taller then the older model that we had a Plastic Shelf on top to add to more Storage for our dry goods. In order to regain that extra storage I had to shorten the legs on the shelf but that caused another problem. The end of the tubes had a slight flare so in order to accomplish that I used Kathy’s Hair Dryer. By heating each leg and tapping them down on the insert they were once again flared.

Since we had our first Sxxw Flurries yesterday I took the time to install the Air Conditioner Sleeve Cover. That will help keep us toasty through the coming Winter.

We mentioned that I’ll be setting up Solar Panels on our new Trailer. It just happened that I found the sketches I had made for our previous trailer with all the dimensions. With less Panels planned I won’t be drilling 495 Holes like I did back then. It also just happens that Princess Auto is presently having a “60 % off Sale” on Aluminium Materials.

After quickly calculating how much material would be needed we were soon heading out the door. The last Solar Panels withstood 65 MPH Wind Gusts so the plan was to make the brackets the same. Imagine my surprise when I found the Two by Two Aluminium Angle was cheaper then the One and a Half Angle. I wonder how strong of Winds this will withstand when I’m done.

With no place to store it at the Apartment we put it in our Storage Unit where most of my Tools are presently store.

Next we stopped at Dollarama to pick up small Plastic Tarps and Bungee Cords to cover the Tires for this Winter. They were out of Tarps and other supplies we needed.

We stopped at Wendy’s for our supper before stopping at another Dollarama closer to our home. We got lucky because they had exactly Two Tarps.

Back at the Apartment were watched the 6 o’clock Local News before reading even more Blogs. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Why does it take longer to get from 1st to 2nd base than it does to get from 2nd to 3rd base?

Because there’s a shortstop in between.

  1. Busy day. That trailer will be ready for anything once you have the solar panels on them. Too bad it will be a few years before coming down. This is my last winter coming west.
