Just in case we’d sleep too late this morning I set the Alarm. As luck would have it that wasn’t necessary but if I hadn’t set it we could have been in another panic mode to start our day. We had Peanut Butter on Toast along with Juice for breakfast.

We were on our way to Hearing Life in Tecumseh shortly after 9:00. We arrived with Ten Minutes to spare so we sat inside their Air-Conditioned Office. Even though the outside temperature was only in the 70’s it was causing us both to sweat by just sitting in the Car. The Audiologist listened carefully to Kathy’s concerns about the Feedback before making a number of adjustments. She then took her for a walk outside so she could experience noise that might cause a problem all while I stayed in the Office. As she explained like Glasses our Brain has to learn how to interpret what it is experiencing from the Hearing Aide. Even though there is a minute amount of Feedback still coming through if she were to turn it off entirely Kathy would not be able to hear from that ear. She’ll wear it for now but if the problem continues after Two Weeks she is to feel free to have it adjusted again. Her Old Hearing Aides are on standby again.
We drove across the road to the Home Hardware Building Center where we looked for Metal Paint so we can touch up our Lantern and Bistro Set on the Balcony. We only found the one Paint we needed and a couple of Drain Stoppers.
We
next went to Dollarama
where we got some the same Double-Side
Tape
and Paintbrushes
that
the Hardware
Center
sold at a fraction of the price but they didn’t have the Paint.
It was nearly noon so we stopped at Taco Bell where we used a Coupon to get our lunch and cool down.
We were surprised at the crowds at Canadian Tire but we managed to get the other Paint we were looking for.
We actually had the chance to go back to our Apartment to cool down just by opening the Balcony Door for nearly an Hour before heading back out the door.
We had our rescheduled appointment with our Ophthalmologist after having to cancel the first one due to our Congestion Issue. We cheated and parked down an abutting side street. Since the Medical Center has a city run parking lot it would have cost Twenty Dollars for Two Hours to park. We had to walk about Two Hundred Feet each way but our parking was Free.
This is the first time we’ve had our eyes checked since 2019 because of the Coronavirus. Luckily our eyes have not changed and we will hopefully see David again next year.
We stopped at McDonald’s for their Pineapple/Mango Smoothies to help us cool down before heading back to our Apartment.
When we arrived at the building we were greeted by a number of angry tenants. The Elevators were again not working and many like Kathy who has a Heart Condition would not make it up the stairs to their homes. There was no one in the Office which made everyone angry. I had the Office on Speed Dial and surprised everyone when a Receptionist answered. Explaining people with health issues needed to get home she said the Elevator Service would be here shortly. Everyone else started adding the number to their phones. After waiting another Half Hour I suggested to Kathy we go out for supper.
We went to the nearby Michigan Diner where we ordered Fish and Chips off their Seniors Menu. Even though these are smaller portions we were still stuffed when we left.
Back at the building we had no problem using the Elevators.
The 6 o’clock Local News reported on the Local Candidates for the upcoming Provincial Election this coming Thursday.
The Weather Network showed because of the Low Humidity our temperature felt more like 100 F (38 C). With Rain forecasted for tomorrow we should be seeing cooler temperatures heading our way.
