Believing The Bull.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

First I would like to Thank all my readers for their words of encouragement on my feelings about leaving this job. I believe my Sanity is worth the move.

Before the Line started I was once again adding Silicone Sealer where I believed the water was seeping through. Having talked with Avry about keeping the Station 9 Pump off until the Parts were in the next section would help to allow the dry time so it would not just get washed away.

Once the Conveyor started that was my cue to head to dryer ground and keep my fingers crossed. After putting those Tools away I was just starting my Morning Walk Around when Paul stopped me. He said I didn’t need to do that every morning and I should be working on the Carriers. Not only did that stop me in my tracks but I knew who had fed that line of crap to Paul. Normally I do the Inspection then have more then enough time to do the Carriers.

I’d barely completed the first Two when Paul needed me to bring the Large Pry Bars down to the Automatic Take-Up at the end of the Paint Line. For some reason it was not functioning the way it should so a little help from the Pry Bars had it working perfectly again.

I just kept working at the Carriers but then Kharen said I was working on the wrong ones again. He showed me the group that I had just finished and didn’t like it when I told him so. He then chose another group which I pointed out had not been used in a month. He just screamed at me to get busy. That !@#$%^& is loosing touch with reality. Don’t forget he said Heat does not distort Metal. He doesn’t have a clue.

This has gotten me so upset that when I saw Paul from the distance I ignored him like he did to me the other day. When I spoke to Kathy at lunch I told her it felt like I had lost my Soul. I put my heart into the job only to be treated like this. She told me to start taking my belongings home. I haven’t resigned yet but that will cause less confusion when I do.

It felt good to be home on time and even better was that Kathy had cooked a Beef Roast in the Crock Pot with Sweet Potatoes for supper. You could cut the Roast with your Fork and it tasted wonderful.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported we lost 2 People to the Coronavirus in Windsor/Essex Region along with 131 Coronavirus Cases Hospitalized today.

The Weather Network showed that we had a high temperature of 43 F (6 C) today but that will all change overnight. When I go to work for the next couple of days it will feel like 0 F (-18 C).

I’ve got to make adjustments to my Resume before I start searching for another job. Hopefully it won’t be as hard to find this time out. I’ll continue working until I do find that new job or I just can’t take any more of this abuse.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

What should you know to become an auctioneer?

  1. Been there. Pack up your personal stuff. Talk to Paul, and if you don't get a commitment that Karen is out of your life immediately, move on. Life is to short to put up with that. Basic respect and dignity is an important part of that relationship.

    1. Seems to me Kharen must have a piece of the company or Paul would have gotten rid of him a long time ago.

    2. I see Barney is thinking along the same lines I've been!!

  2. It is way past time for you to leave this place, because it is becoming abundantly clear that the situation is never going to change. In fact, it is clearly deteriorating. All of the equipment is failing because of lack of maintenance and it is clear that is never going to change. There is no leadership from Paul or the person who calls himself a supervisor. People must be treated with dignity and respect and that is not happening here. I can see that you need the money that this job provides but in my opinion the price you are paying is too great. Move on and the best of luck to you.

  3. Well,I concur with Volstad, Davis & Barney - Its clear Paul is not listening to you & is not interested in formally addressing your concerns or the current hostile work environment. I believe future attempts to achieve common ground which includes a consistent, positive/healthy working relationship with "kahren" thru Paul will be futile.

  4. Get your stuff out, Pull the rip cord, and leave now. That has deteriorated into hell. My $.02. Kah
ren is an idiot, and Paul is being lazy/non-confrontational in dealing with it. You were/are clearly an asset, but the BS you've dealt with are simply unacceptable.
