Sleeping, Reading, and Baking.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

I was very surprised when I woke up after Kathy did this morning. The only time I recall sleeping that long was after having medical procedures done but this was my body saying you need it.

We spent most of the morning reading Blogs and I did managed to leave Comments on a few. There were a number of Job Ads in the area but none in my field.

Instead of having Soup today Kathy served Vegetable Fried Rice with the Leftover Chicken Breast for lunch then added Orange Slices, Cookies and Yogurt Cups for dessert.

Since the temperature was continuing to climb we finally turned on the Air Conditioner around 2:00 because Kathy wanted to bake a Pecan Cake. While she did that I finally got enough energy to pull out the Dumbbells and Exercise Bench and got a decent workout in. Since starting at this job I seemed to have lost the drive to do so.

When it came to supper we had the last Medium Sized Store Bought Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza in the Freezer. It was tasty even though there was a little heat for Kathy.

On the 6 o’clock Local News they did not report any Coronavirus Cases but mostly spoke of the upcoming Olympics. We are fortunate to have a number of Athletes from the Windsor/Essex Region who will be representing Canada at the games.

The high temperature today felt like 102 F (39 C) this afternoon. That was why we turned on the AC for Kathy. We have a few more days like this before it gets back to more normal temperatures.

While we watched “The Good Witch” we each enjoyed a slice of the Pecan Cake. It was nice and lite as well as tasty.

Here’s hoping for tomorrow.
