Coronavirus and A Three Breakfast Day.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It’s a nice feeling when one can wake up from a good night’s sleep. I was up by 8:00 and had already seen the Clouds trying to fill the sky before getting things ready for breakfast. When I saw joggers down on the Trail I also noticed large Water Puddles in the parking lot from the Rain that I slept through.

After starting the Computers I barely had a chance to review The Weather Network when Kathy joined me. The temperature was just above the Freezing Mark with only a few more degrees to reach our daytime high.
Breakfast was simply Cereal but it helped to stop cravings between meals. Kathy told me how High Winds developed around 1:00 this morning and lasted for nearly an Hour. They blew so hard that she thought the Bicycle Cover was going to take flight but only the one wheel became uncovered. She was awake while I was asleep.

We had a few calls this morning. The first was from Carol from Guardian Storage to say she was working from home because of the Coronavirus but had gotten our message about emptying the one Storage Unit. She’d also adjusted our bill which helped to bring it down considerably.

The next was from Julia at Fantastic Sam’s. We always make appointments for our Haircuts and our next appointment would have been next week. Since Hairstylists and Barbers are not considered essential services they were forced to close by the City to battle the spread of the Coronavirus. Word is they will not be open until the middle of next month so she’ll put us on her list to call when they go back.
The camera sees the houses we could barely see.
Looking out the Balcony Door at 11:00 it was hard to see the nearby homes because of intense Flurries even though the temperature had risen to 41 F (5 C).
We managed to get most of our reading on the Computers done before Kathy started making lunch. She decided we’d have another breakfast for lunch by having Ham and Eggs along with Toast. Then we had our mixed dessert plate to top us off. I felt stuffed.

Back to the Computers I received an E-Mail from the Jayco Repair Center telling me they were temporarily closed down due to the Coronavirus. Now our repairs have been rescheduled until the end of summer. We’ll be contacting them directly as soon as we hear they are once again open.

Kathy and I spent time researching On-Line trying to find another Shelf for our Storage Room in the Apartment. Since we are presently needing to overstock on somethings that room is full. Unlike our previous Two Bedroom Apartment we cannot use Three large shelving units. We checked Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware, Lowe’s and Walmart. The smaller shelves that will fit cost more then the larger ones and Walmart doesn’t have the lowest prices. We’ll wait for that later.
By the time we realized the time we needed to make something quick for supper. Kathy made Pancakes. She had hers with Chocolate Chips but I jut wanted Butter on mine.

We took our Teas over to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. We learned about even more Coronavirus Cases and Deaths in the Windsor/Essex area.

As soon as the News was over we shut the Television so Kathy could log on to Facebook for her scheduled 7:00 Facetime with Karen, Kevin and Ken. They had fun visiting for the next Forty Minutes.

We worked together to wash up the Dishes before turning on a Hallmark Movie. This was one that had Three episodes to it. We have never seen the First episode but saw the Third episode in its entirety with only the last Half Hour of this one before. It’s like reading a book backwards.

Since we didn’t go anywhere today we’ll try again tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
Krackers

A man walking with his friend says, "I'm a walking economy."

His friend replies, "How so?"

"My hairline is in recession.

My stomach is the victim of inflation.

Both those together are putting me into a deep depression."

  2. Delicious looking meals you both prepared!

I would take your snow flurries any time over the high of 98 degrees we had today.

  3. Your pictures make me hungry!!! I'm not surprised Jayco closed down, but the end of summer? Hopefully they can get it fixed so you are able to head south for the winter. If indeed we get that far by then.

  4. Sounds like you had lots of cancellations. That means when this passes you will be busier than ever.

  5. So great to see how Kathy has taken to FaceTime. This way she gets to see family and friends. Sorry about a further delay regarding RV repairs, don't be surprised if it gets delayed yet again.
