Feeling Better, Making A List, Reading, Exercising and WTH.

Woke up before 8:00 this morning feeling much better then I did yesterday. It was a waste of time opening the Balcony Blinds as all you could see were heavy Clouds that had just finished watering the parking lot.
Breakfast was strictly a Banana with our Coffee/Tea being drank at the Computers. According to The Weather Network we won’t be seeing Springlike Weather until the weekend. That means temps in the 50s with lots of Rain to boot.

The more Blogs we read the more we see how everyone who is not presently sick from the Coronavirus is still being affected in their everyday lives. They’re inability to move around freely or even visiting with Family and Friends the way they always have in the past.
For lunch we kept it Lite and Healthy by having Italian Wedding Soup then adding Clementine Oranges, Cookies and an Apple Sauce Cup for dessert.
Things were looking up around noon.
As we sipped our Tea we watched more News about the Coronavirus but only lasted a Half Hour. As many have mentioned when you get bombarded over and over again about the same thing all the time it starts to wear on you.

Kathy busied herself checking the Fridge, Freezer and Cupboards making an extensive Grocery List of things we will not only need for Easter but to see us through until next weekend.

Even with the much lower temperature we opened the Balcony Door for a while letting some Fresh Air in and Stale Air out. Kathy chose one of the Three Books she is presently reading to help pass away part of the afternoon.

I chose to do some exercising. Even though we don’t seem to be busy I just haven’t been able to get a full Workout in but am slowly building back up to it.
Once I was cleaned up Kathy made us Chocolate Chip Pancakes for supper. Since they were the size of the Plate we only needed One for our meals.
Even with Clouds the Sun brightened things up.
We tried to watch the 6 then 11 o’clock Local News but they were both preempted by Reality Shows. WTH! We finally watched an episode of Blue Bloods that we haven’t seen in a couple of years.

Since grocery stores are now only allowing One Family Member in to do the shopping I’ll go for the Seniors Shopping Time while Kathy stays at the Apartment. If it doesn’t Rain too much we’ll go out in the afternoon. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Words of Inspiration

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

  1. Both your lunch as well as dinner look delicious. Would you believe I have never eaten a chocolate chip pancake before?

First time I hear of the news being pre-empted by a reality show!

I was wondering when they were going to implement the "only one person per household allowed to grocery shop" in your area.

  2. When we do have to go in the grocery or pharmacy, I leave Jim in the truck. He's safer there. I cannot believe that the news was pre-empted by reality tv. How stupid is that. Stay safe you guys.

  3. Wait ... how will the younger people get in the door during senior hours if they can't go with their parents? See that every day here.

  4. We are hooked on Blue Bloods. Looked forward to last nights episode but all we got a message stating they were having issues broadcasting that station. Bummer.

I wish we were just having rain for the next few days. We are warned not only heavy rains but high winds, hail and strong probability of tornadoes forming. This is so common here in Alabama. Glad we have a basement.

  5. I don't know anyone who has had the virus nor anyone who knows someone who does.
