It
was only 7:30 when I woke this morning after having a night of
wakeful moments. Kathy would join me just after 8:00 telling me how
she struggled to fall asleep last night. With the outside temperature
being well below the Freezing Mark we were in no hurry to run
any errands this morning.
Today
the only breakfast we would have would be the Cereal we
had before going to the Computers. Looking out on the Balcony
I was surprised to see the Bicycle Cover almost totally off
our Tandem Bike so we though about adding additional straps to
hold it in place.
Since
we weren’t feeling overly hungry for lunch we made a Southwest
Style Salad then added Bacon and Grapes to it which
created a sweet and tangy kind of flavouring. We also had Mandarin
Oranges, Cookies and Yogurt Cups for dessert.
We
were just getting ready to run our errands when the Wind
seemed to pick up causing the Bike Cover to bellow like a
Balloon. I went to the Truck to see what kind of Straps
or Bungees I could find while Kathy kept an aye on things for
me. Back upstairs it only took Ten Minutes to resecure the
Cover on the Bike but I was nearly frozen and needed a
Hot Drink to warm myself up with. Checking our Shopping
List we decided to wait until tomorrow to do the shopping.
For
supper Kathy made Meat Balls with Beef Gravy over Egg
Noodles with Asparagus for a side. For dessert we had some
Fruit Cake that really hit the spot.
We
watched our Local News at 6:00
before doing the Dishes together. We’ve become overwhelmed
listening to everything about the Coronavirus
so we changed things up a bit. We watched a Hallmark Movie
before watching a few episodes of Ghost Hunters.
With
clear and a slightly warmer day we’ll try to get our errands done
tomorrow. Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

I am not knowledgable about Canadian winters so are these low temperatures common this late in April? Wish I could trade places with you but only for a week or so :D
ReplyDeleteGreat Words of Inspiration from a Texas native!
It was definitely cold across the province yesterday but sunny which was lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe don't watch or read too much on the virus. We watch the news occasionally and short updates. I'm not blind to it but it is too depressing for me.
Hoping it warms for you soon! Hallmark would be the way to go :)
ReplyDeleteWe used to watch Ghost Hunters at the house but haven't seen it since we left on this adventure. Good news is there is no where that you have to be so take the time to keep your core temp up.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the strangest April on record for most of Canada. Good to read that you are staying safe.
