Getting Lit, Cold Outside and More Grout Cleaning.

No matter how hard we’ve been trying to get to bed early since we’ve moved into the Apartment it just doesn’t seem to be happening. That was okay for me because I slept like a Log only rolling over a few times but not so much for Kathy.

After we had breakfast we decided to make it a Two Cup Morning while reading at the Computers. With the Outside Temperatures staying well below the Freezing Mark today we both had our plans to work inside but One of us didn’t know they were both the same.

After I finished making up the Bed I spent a little more time laying around. If you recall we found our Bedroom Lamps at our Storage Unit yesterday. When we brought them up to the Apartment Kathy immediately put them on our Bedside Tables but I said I’d hook them up in the morning. By laying around I was able to connect them to the Power Bars right behind the Headboard. By the time Kathy called me for lunch they were connected and working.

On Monday we had Leftover Manwich so today Kathy recreated it into a Spaghetti Sauce on Egg Noodles sprinkled with Shredded Cheese for our late lunch. She topped it with Tea Biscuits and Apple Sauce for dessert adding Orange Juice as a beverage.

Kathy had planned on doing more Grout Cleaning today even though her Arthritic Hands were bothering her. Having seen the pained look on her face I planned on doing the Grout Cleaning for her. I moved my Tool Bins away from the Door and started over there. Kathy kept saying she’d do it but I wasn’t letting her after the Pain she had been feeling in her Hands.

Kathy resigned herself to being a coach sharing her experience with me. It took longer to accomplish just that One Stretch because I had to avoid boxing myself in a corner. I started by the Door then along the Wall and Closet. After scrubbing the Toilet Bowl Cleaner into the Grout with the Rubbermaid Cleaning Tool then wiping it clean the Tiles had a sparkle to them. It took less time to finish the center section leading to the Living Room.

It was already past 4:30 by the time the Tiles were dry and the clean runners back in place. With Two more Sections to do we’ll wait for another day.

Since we’d also seen the Sun most of the day shining through the Windows as we saw it heading West we knew that we’d have a nice Sunset. It did not disappoint us.

Since we’d had a late lunch we weren’t really hungry so we started catching up on our Computer Reading. Eventually we’d watch the 6 o’clock Local News before watching part of a Hallmark Christmas Movie. When it ended at 8:00 that was when Kathy made us Macaroni and Cheese for our supper with a Berry Berry Tea for a refreshment.

We then watched the Christmas Cookie Bake Off before seeing the Season Finale of Nancy Drew. With tomorrow being a better weather day we’ll be doing things outside the apartment. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
